I can’t wait for a "What if Erwin and Armin both survived?" Like, Armin gets the Colossal Titan, and Erwin gets the Armored Titan. Basically, the Scouts manage to prevent Zeke and Pieck from taking Reiner back.
@@kokichistextingstory374 I've never heard in any official source that you need the full injection to transform into a Titan. Rod proved that only a little bit is enough, even if it was a strange way.
@@infinite6576 actually you’ve seen what happened to rod when he Used the Titan serum it went wrong,a person needs to take it correctly or he or she will become a Huge titan than the colossal.
@@WallNutBreaker524 I do admit it might be a bit bad at the end part of the fight but no I think the ending is ok. Since most of the reasons I see people say why it’s bad is reasons that could be easily explained if they used their brain for like once
@@WallNutBreaker524 Definitely, this version of the story actually gives Eren a reason to do the rumbling. In the original story, Eren just sees that vision of the future and decides to go along with it just because? It's like bro didn't take a second to think "wait I don't have to do this".
Only thing i notice that isnt touched on is if Eren wasnt the last holder of the attack titan, then he would see the memories of the future holders, including the resistance members that had it and the eventual outcome of his rumbling plans. Would he be ok with this? I wonder how it would have affected his actions.
Good question! I think that: 1) When Eren died he had to choose between two bad options. If he gave his power to the military, then it would contradict the messages of peace/freedom that he’d been preaching. Allowing the government to have all 9 titans would restrict freedom of the population (eg. people would become too afraid to protest or question the all-powerful govt etc) and it’d probably be seen as an insult by eldians from across the sea 2) I think he’d see vague future memories of the resistance (sort of like how Krueger saw vague future memories of Armin & Mikasa). It wouldn’t be anything concrete. He definetly wouldn’t know about Henry Tybur’s plans 150 years later So overall my thought is that he picked an option that was risky but one that aligned more with his values. I think he’d believe that peace would be more achievable down the road this way. Ps. Also the function of the attack titan is to “resist” power and that might’ve played into his mindset a bit
@@TurtleQuirk wait, so if the royal family is completely wiped off, how does it affect ymir's connection to the eldians? Is it a free for all between everyone? What are even the goals of the tyburs? if it was only to regain control of the titans i feel they'd "cause an accident" for mia as the warhammer to keep it undercover in the family. Do they mean to take ALL of them? Unless they just want to watch the world burn it wouldn't truelly help with power/wealth and they could easily manipulate their way to cozy positions of power and reputation just like og tyburs. Sorry for nitpicking😅 this was a good story all the way through P.s gotta love how Erwin's the "die a hero or live long enough to become the villain" and the trade off for long lasting peace (kinda) is the lives and happiness of loved characters, cant have it all after all. Overall great story. Also mia is obviously gabi's decendant but i wonder if she's related to falco too
@@arielkandlithanks for the kind words! To answer some of these, yes Mia is the descendant of Gabi and Falco. I’ve not seen anyone notice this yet but her name (Mia) is the alias that Falco gave to Gabi when they first met Sasha’s family The Tybur’s goal is for their bloodline to have full control over this civilisation, I guess a real life comparison would be something like 🇸🇦. They don’t want the world to burn they just want to be the absolute power About the royal family… I’m not sure when/if I will continue this storyline but there is an idea there. They’re not *all* over just yet, Henry made sure of that
@@TurtleQuirk bro, why didn't we see the modern day eren, Mikasa and Armin lookalikes that were shown in the 3-4 pages manga of AOT next gen manga. It would be cool if you include them and show how eventually the power of Attack Titan again falls to a person who looks like Eren and has a dream of Titans coming back. Plz bro Plz do it. It would be amazing
I've always had a what if idea of "What if Paradis chose the 50 year plan" instead, and that we saw the future generations of the island, this basically scratched that itch, cold work bro!
OMG this is Isayama level's writing..............dude you gotta make your own manga at this point............this is too good, almost at original AOT's level !!!
I've got to say you've really stepped up the editing style since your first what If video. That along with the developed story line and added details makes this video 🔥. I'm really excited for what the future of this channel entails and I still need to finish watching this video
Why would Zeke go along with any of this? It runs contrary to all of his plans. All Zeke wants is to get access to the Coordinate through the royal titan so he can make all Eldians sterile and unable to become Titian's. Zeke HONESTLY believes Eldians are evil and born only to suffer so letting die out in a single generation is the ultimate act of mercy. None of the acts you have him doing in the first part of this video get him closer to his goal. He would be far more likely to try and sabotage their efforts to forge alliances and go on the attack to and make them desperate enough to go for his plan.
He is literally the Jesus of AoT bro, he basically sacrificed himself to get rid of the titans once and for all, just like how Jesus died to relieve the world of it’s sins
This is an incredible feat of storytelling. Every aspect of this is so believable. It ends off like the first Incredibles and second Amazing Spider Man movies: the action and the cycle continues. I love this video so so much.
First: Deep respect and appreciation for both the effort put into this video and the resulting story itself! Second: The custom artworks done for the video look fantastic! Third... that Jesus Jäger... god damn XDD
Humans have always gone to war with each other. The titan powers only enhanced the devastation in the aot world until human technology finally caught up and even surpassed it.
This is really good, I like how much detail you put into your video and amount of research you went into making this ''alternate timeline'' make sense.
It's great to see this amazing project finally summed up. The one thing that doesn't work (that I've noticed) is that to stay in control of the Founder and lead the rumbling to Marley, Eren would need to stay in contact with a titan of royal blood, so he would have needed to capture Historia and bring her with him like he did with Zeke in the canon timeline, so she wouldn't be able to stay on the island and use her titan like in this scenario.
Hol up Eren wouldn’t be able to control the rumbling without being in constant contact with historia. So she would be out of play here since they would have fused the same way eren and Zeke did in the OG.
*Kingdom of Eldia has tall-looking Skycraper structures* Kingdom of Erusea: "Hey! I've seen this one. It's a classic. Looks like the Lighthouse." Kingdom of Eldia: "What do you mean you've seen it? It's brand new!"
I really love this idea. Honestly, I still hope that we could get a new season of AOT set in the future from when that little boy and his dog found the giant tree where Eren was buried.
How would the story of Attack on Titan be different if Marcel wasn’t eaten my Ymir (I’m sure this one has already be done)? Also, what if Reiner, Zeke, and Bertholdt had gone to save Annie instead of pursue the coordinate?
Its rare to see what if video that actually has like art to do with the story it makes 100 times better and more fun to watch tysm for the effort u put in
I might be missing something. But isn't direct contact with a shifter with royal blood necessary to continue the rumbling? In the show the rumbling stopped the moment Zeke died. But here Eren is continuing the rumbling even without Historia being anywhere near him.
I think the what if would be very hard, since eren even modified the past to reach the rumbling, i think if future eren didnt wanted the rumbling, he didnt made his father kill the founder, and his father wouldnt give him the attack titan, so the story couldnt really be even close to eren making anything
This is actually such a believable timeline! The fact that violence still continues and everything doesn't magically solve itself with Erwin just being there is actually realistic. I really enjoyed this video!
The amount of effort, dedication, and consistency that you had to exhibit to make this is incredible!! I don’t agree with every take, but I do agree with most. And most importantly, you came up with something incredibly interesting and very plausible! This is too cool; great job!!
If we had titans at our current time, I doubt they'd be a big of a problem. If they managed to become an extremely large amount THEN it'd be a big problem but wiping them out would probably be an easier task I suppose
I think I found 1 plot hole in your story. In the original timeline we see that Zeke stays in contact with eren for the whole rumbling but here we see historia not being in contact with eren. I could be missing some details which you might have explained but I thought on specifying it
Honestly, after more than a 130 years of plotting I am surprised that the Tyburs just didn't send one of their daughters to one of the Royal family's men to honeypot them and try to sneak an heir into their family bloodline.
@@VoiceOfTheHero It would actually make sense if Paradise experimented on the titans to make them much stronger or multiply them even more. Or they might discover that some ancient Eldians tried to divide Ymir's power and hid the resulting new titans in other very faraway parts of the planet.
@@The_AbsoluteGODofHyperdeath I like it his idea so more that i make it nu own version named AQUATIC TITAN. Is different enough with a new powers, inheritor and story. His actual inheritor is called Olga Linski.
This was incredible written and a prefect what if!! Nice job. I do have two questions for two holes within it tho. One being even going back in time to motivate his father and two doesn’t the founder and a royal blood titan have to be touching constantly in order for the power to work? Besides those holes the story is perfect! Unless I missed something
The biggest plot hole in this story is that eren needed to hold Zelle hostage in the path world to continue the rumbling. Right now he has no Titan of royal blood with him in the path, so he shouldn’t be able to use the rumbling like this .
I know this was said in the anime already but for me I just don't understand how Armin thinks he could make peace with the people who have wanted them dead for 2000 years
Imagine Japan knowing the U.S. was to drop nuclear warhwads uring the 1900's 💭 I'm sure with that knowledge; a different scenario would have been sought out - possibly acheived. The politics in this world of AOT are very similar to our own - just with giant monsters instead of giant bombs..
@@glo2fr823 there's strategic battlefield knowledge. I'm relating a measurablely powerful force that we understand innour history with that of the "magical God-like" power of the titans witnessed by the protagonists from their perspective. If Japan knew the Collossal Titan was coming to F them up; I'm sure they would have sought other means of peace rather than be blown away. (They didn't know.)
Serious question. What if two pure titans eats half of a titan shifter? Rod reiss said all you need to do is consume the spinal fluid and you'll transform. Tbh the original shifter shouldn't even have to die. They could just remove some of their spinal fluid like zeke does with his seemingly unlimited supply, find a way to shoot it in a pure titans mouth and make an army of titan shifters. Obviously for the sake of the plot this is ridiculous but I can't be the only one with similar theories
There should be a suite to alternative reality, something like Shingeki no Kyonjin : The Paths with each season being a new story where Erens manipulate another part from the main history to make a new one and on and on
48:05 i think what this implies is that the Tyburs used they're knowledge of the outside world to produce technology's the island didn't have and sold them and got really rich from it but it's really unclear
Starting off that the work put it into this is immense!!!! Please treat my question as a book study question not a criticism lol. I can’t see Erwin trying to convince Erin to allow the mainland Eldians to survive just to later not be involved in their peaceful assimilation and be involved in child experimentation. I could see the government doing the latter though.
That was really really good!!!. They should turn that into a manga and an anime series. Like you said AOT The next generation. I think that somehow the new titan shifters should have powers equalling modern militaries. Such as psychic powers over army's and military leaders.
This is video is absolutely amazing bro props to you i know this video probably took mad long to make this needs to be an actual anime alternate timeline spinoff
This would work out, except for one glaring problem. The first titan transformation is always unpredictable. We see this with both Eren and Falco. They both attack their allies, and Falco has to be forcibly ripped out while Eren takes himself out of commission. There'd be nobody to control Historia once she ate whoever the Jaw Titan was. And, like with Hitch, she'd go wild as the Female Titan. Same when the Jaw Titan would first transform. And Floch.
Got the impression that they were training to get used to their Titan forms off screen, especially based on the “Erwin getting the Colossal Titan” series.
My theory-why actually would have eren killed his mother because her mother wouldn't have let him join the survey corps and fight the Titans and do the rumbling to end the Titan era My theory still seems so real the others agree with me or not
OK, When I see the changes from the original, aka the beginning of the next generation part, what if and I was like "yo why did you do that the original was good!" but after completing the watch I was like "OK he's cooking!"
This video was awesome! 13/10 (13 for the curse of Ymir lol, but seriously, this was great!) Just a few things that I think would have happened differently in this timeline. 1. I think Sasha and Connie would have gone along with the rest of the group to stop Eren and the Rumbling. I know you mentioned that Connie would be extremely appreciative of Eren returning his mom to her human form, but considering Sasha never had any relatives turn into titans, nor did she lose any of her relatives, she likely would have had a more level head and wanted to stop Eren as well. She probably would have convinced Connie to go with the group, especially since if their friends, Jean, Armin, and Hange, were still alive, they likely would have wanted to stop the Rumbling as well, just as they did in the original timeline. This would have convinced Connie, and considering Connie and Sasha were inseparable friends, that would have been another one of the main reasons Connie would have gone with them. So I can imagine Sasha and Connie would have told their families that they were still soldiers of the survey corps and had to carry on the wishes of their fallen comrades. 2. So Floch eats Reiner and inherits his Armored Titan. Let's keep this alternate timeline interesting. Since the armored titan can transfer its body's consciousness throughout the entire Titan, how about if, with a little training, it could temporarily transfer its consciousness through any titan shifter it makes contact with. If the armored titan has an injury, but can connect its exposed muscles and nerves with that of other titan shifters, their consciousness can temporarily fuse with the other titan shifter and the armored titan can see what the other shifter sees. However, there's a catch. To see the shifter's human body whereabouts, the Armored titan must also be in its human form. I hope that doesn't sound too confusing. 3. This one is kind of a closed plot hole, but in the original timeline, Eren needed a Titan of Royal Blood to continue the Rumbling. But I think this is where the exciting plot hole from the original timeline can be filled. Eren would only need a Titan of Royal Blood just to access the paths and Ymir, and after he does that, he wouldn't need a Royal Blood Titan anymore. So yeah I wouldn't change a thing for this one. 4. Eren's bipedal Founding Titan would have likely still been 600 meters tall like his millipede-like form since he was the only Founding Titan holder to tap into Ymir's power. If you search up images and videos of what Eren's Founder would have looked like if Gabi missed her shot on him, it's pretty much like a super-sized, muscly, bony version of his attack titan. His spine (which is where that worm thing is in) is still protruding from his body. I think in that regard, he'd also still have the ability to spawn the ancient Titans (which correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that has more to do with a combination of his Founding Titan and his Warhammer hardening abilities than his Founder abilities alone). So how this would have played out differently, because Eren's Founding Titan is so big, Erwin's Colossal Titan would be the only thing that could destroy Eren's founding Titan so the group can stop the Rumbling and drag Eren out of there. But considering the explosion is so big, they'd probably need to check to see if Eren's body is in a place where he might be killed by the blast and if so, to what extent should Erwin control his explosion. Although if Eren gets killed regardless, Erwin will have to use the explosion anyway. This worried the group, especially Mikasa. Erwin is usually not above sacrificing his comrades, but in quite a few cases, he does know when to take caution, and I feel like this would be one of those times, I could be wrong though. Erwin would also order Floch to go down there with him so he can use his consciousness-transferring abilities to see where Eren is and whether or not he's in the best place for Erwin to transform. Erwin would then hold Floch's hand so he can see through Floch's memories of where Eren is too. Alright, plan is planned out, now comes the execution. Keep in mind, Floch is only playing along, but he wouldn't give up his true motives that easily, especially after he was ordered to go along with the plan. So Erwin and Floch would fall from Historia and land on Eren in order to find out where Eren's human body is located and if he would be safe from the explosion. They would find out that Eren's human form can be spared, only if Erwin does a controlled transformation. Just as he's about to bite/cut his hand to transform, the Okapi titan extends its tongue to capture Erwin, like it did to Armin in the original timeline. Since everyone knows that Erwin is their trump card to stop Eren, they would all try to fly down on top of Eren's spine to get Erwin back. But as they try to move in, the the rest of the ancient Titans would start spawning in. Even without Pieck being there to confirm, I feel like Floch would know that these were ancient titan shifters considering he's a titan shifter himself. So Floch in his Armored titan, and Mikasa, Levi, Sasha and Connie with their ODM gear fight against the ancient titans. Histoira stays behind, as her fire breath on the Wall titans has already exhausted her. So she stays back, coasting along the wind. But of course, the group realizes they're outnumbered and it starts to not look good for them. As that's going on, Erwin would see himself dead on the ground, but he wouldn't be emotional like Armin; he'd be more initially confused about where he is until he realizes he's back in the Paths. There, he could see all the deceased titan-shifters that he's either known personally or remembers from the memories of his Colossal Titan predecessor, Bertolt. This would also include Ymir, Louise, Hitch, Grisha, Kruger, even the Marleyan ones like Reiner, Bertolt, Annie, Porco, Marcel, Lara Tyber, and Zeke. He'd tell them that he realizes why they betrayed Paradis and that everyone had to be a monster to survive. But then he uses his top-notch speaking prowess to convince all the Titan shifters he knew to come together and help defeat all the other ancient Titans. Back outside, just as the group are about to be overwhelmed, the ancient titans that they knew aid them in killing all the others. Because of the Okapi Titan's speed and agility, Hitch's female titan missteps her kick on the Okapi, and instead of kicking down on its nape to kill it, she back-kicks it into the air. However, her kick slashes the Okapi's mouth, freeing Erwin. Everyone is puzzled as to how some of the ancient titans fought back against the others, but Levi urges them not to let their confusion waste their opportunity. Floch gets out of his Titan form as Histoira, having regained some of her energy, flies back down to pick the group up so they can reach Erwin. Back on board, everyone watches as the Okapi stabs Erwin in the leg, waking him up, and tries to pull him back in. This prompts Levi to order Historia to fly quickly and catch Erwin before he's reeled back in by the Okapi. But before they could move in, that's when Floch would transform, catching everyone off guard and killing them except Historia. Sasha and Connie would have been killed instantly by Floch's transformation; likely burnt to a crisp from the massive electric shock that the transformation caused. But because Mikasa and Levi are Ackermans, they would be knocked unconscious like in the video, and would fall to their deaths. Mikasa will still have that Path's talk with Eren that they did in the playlist. Erwin and Eren watch in horror as they witness the tragic aftermath of Floch's betrayal. In a raging fury, Erwin transforms midair, vaporizing the Okapi titan. After transforming, he wastes almost no time preparing to get revenge on Floch. But that's when Eren pulls him into the "memory lane" version of the paths. Eren would tell Erwin that he already has a plan for Floch's punishment. He already talked with Floch in the paths before, enraged at him for killing his friends and told Floch himself how he'd be punished. Back to Eren and Erwin's conversation, this is when they'd formulate the idea of all the Eldians outside of Paradis turning into Colossals and migrating to Paradis. After they are sent back to reality, that's when Floch gets his punishment, which, instead of being eaten by Eren or thrown into the rumbling while in his human form, I'd go with Eren remotely transferring Floch's consciousness throughout his entire armored titan body, similar to Reiner back during the Battle for Shiganshina. Then, Erwin picks up Floch, throws him onto Eren's spine and leaves him to be killed by the ancient Titan allies, all while Floch is still in his Armored Titan form. Since his consciousness would be throughout the entire titan instead of his body, I can imagine Floch would be killed similarly to Dina Fritz, which would be a brutal yet deserving way for him to go out. The rest of the story would go pretty much just like in the video. Overall, amazing video. I always like your AOT alternate timelines, and I hope you continue with this one too! Also, forgive me for constantly editing this; so many ideas keep popping in my head about an alternate to the alternate timeline, lmao
