While not the most difficult, Smash is 100% the most execution intensive fighting game on the market. Sure, other games have it rough, but absolutely none require execution at such a manic, consistently high pace
Wouldn't it be the same combo or small variations of the same combo in a SFIV or UMVC3 combo video? Footdive>infinite x7 I think Melee combo videos are good because (almost) no combos are guaranteed!

fewwef weffefwf You obviously suck at melee then. Look up how fast is melee into youtube. The APM rivals starcraft... and starcraft has a keyboard instead of controller. Doing that many apm is nearly impossible with a controller.

This game is more difficult than any fighting game out there. The level of execution that you have to have in this game is ridiculous. Call it a party game if you want, but I can promise that those of you who claim that this is a party game play a much easier game. when you see something as unorthodox and abstract as melee, you automatically shut it out, because you are unable to see the complexity in the game, and are very close-minded. The FGC needs to learn how to think outside the box.

hey sw, your tech skill is equal or not better than hax's but you two have the same problem, you dont do reads you just play textbook so if you can inplement reads into your game you would be the best no doubt
Ehh, it's debatable to say melee is the most difficult fighting game. Don't get me wrong, I love melee and I think it's an awesome competitive fighter. But, execution in other games can be just as difficult with really precise timing (best ssf4 combos often include multiple 1-frame links). The combos just look a lot flashier in melee. Also the mindgames and matchups in other fighting games can be really difficult to learn due to many of them having larger viable rosters than melee.
Two things. 1. The music reminds me of Gerudo Valley. 2. Some of these clips were disgusting. There were also a few you could have left out due to bad opponent DI. 3. This is more than two things. But your delayed light bairs into continued combos were sick.
You should think about entering the japan or korean smash bros tournaments you might actually do good. The higher up bracket tournaments only allow n64 consoles. No virtual consoles. Held annually
