Defending the Strider is legit a ridiculous mission. I used full Nachtreiher for mobility, and dual gatling with pilebunker on shoulder. My heart dropped, when both my gatlings purged on the last one, when it was half AP and I was so grateful for the Pilebunker finishing it.
I decided to invoke the power of Balteus by having dual ‘Soup’ missile launchers for my shoulders and dual ‘Apertiff’ missile launchers for my handheld weapons. It was beautiful watching the missile swarm chasing down those freaking irritating buzz saw enemies.
Dude has been hit several times, and ammo doesn't drop he is cheating. That's why the rig also insta-died as he also put a high damage multiplier on top of it too as the moments don't ricochet he kills them in 1 hit.
So, i usually run a high mobility, lance+pile bunker double melee ac. Gets sub 20, some even sub 10 second kills on all boss acs except stuff like baltus, needs 2-3 poisebreaks for that boi. So i strut into this mission in ng+2, fairly confident into my build, when - after downing two acs - 4 frickin wheels start showing up on an open field, with 4 more coming in, supported by another 2 acs. This mission, nah, i had to abandon the ways of the melee 😂 quadruple rocket launchers, carol‘s designs, plus long range fcs on a tetrapod, only way to not go crazy 🤣🤌 when you have to be in there, you‘re just gonna be walked all over, literally.
