If that coolant is leaking into your cylinder, it will kill it, and the whole motor will be toast. Replace the gasket, dude. I know it sucks, I've done it on my 95, which is even easier than yours. No real other choice IMO.
It’s not leaking into the cylinder. It’s leaking on the external part of a coolant jacket. There’s no oil/coolant mix. The compression isn’t compromised,
