What a great tutorial for beginners and a refresher for seasoned painters. I think this would be great for everyone to remind us of how to do the special techniques for the specific brushes. This practice would be great for warming up too! And how nice to see you twice this week! Looking forward to Thursday! And looking forward to getting your brushes! I just grabbed a set, I was hesitating because I hesitate about EVERYTHING I buy these days! Leisl is one of the best YT watercolor tutorial channels in my opinion, and THE best when it comes to verbalizing the tactile aspect of using watercolors, which is my biggest hurdle. I’m totally comfortable with everything from pigments to paper to palettes. But I get shaky when I sit down to paint. I want to be able to relax & find peace in watercolors, but most nights I just end up playing with mixing pigments and swatching 😂. Maybe I need to do some breathing exercises.

You are just the sweetest person! I appreciate your support so much. 💕 And thank you for this lovely comment! You’re not the only one to get that “blank page fear” either! I have felt that many times myself. ☺️ Hang in there! Maybe a good way to get started painting is while you’re having fun with your color mixing and swatches, you can also practice some of the basic brush strokes too. Then after you’re comfortable and confident with that you can start putting them together a little bit… maybe into just one little flower. You’ll be painting before you know it. 🥰 Take care my friend!

Hi Liesl, I will not be able to be on with you live, but I will watch the replay. Will we have access to the discounts on the brushes? Will we be able to order brushes even if we can't be on the live?

Hi Karen! I will miss having you during the live, but I completely understand that you have a life and other obligations! 🥰 As far as the discounts, the only one that you would miss out on is the extra 5% discount. This is an offer made by Craftamo themselves, so I don’t have control over that. But, the brushes will be at a discount price for the first 7 days, and the Etsy outline will be at a 50% discount for the whole day on Thursday. Hope this helps answer some question. I would like to buy them but I will not be able to watch on Thursday at 9 am I have therapy at that time can I ask you how much are they? And if the price is right can I buy them before Thursday thanks in advance

Unfortunately the brush set won’t be available in advance, but even though you will miss the live premiere, these brushes will be on a limited time sale for one week, so you can still get a bit of a discount! ☺️(Normally they will sell for $60, but for the first week they will be only $55.) I hope you’re doing well and that your therapy session goes good. You and your well being are more important than any brushes ever could be. 🥰❤️ Take care!

Hi, Liesl~ I have a problem I hope you can help me with~ I am going in for surgery tomorrow (Sept. 9th), and I am afraid I might miss you premiere of your brushes~ I am going to do my very best to be awake and take part~ But is there anyway you can help me get in on your brushes!??? Yes, I did enter the pre-order program, and I DO have the funds to cover the cost~ Would you please help me to be able to take part!??? Oh my goodness Phyllis! ❤️ I hope your surgery goes well and that it is not anything too serious!! This is definitely a time you need to focus on yourself. Your health and well being are so much more important than anything else going on right now. ❤️❤️❤️ With that being said, Craftamo is in charge of the sales and shipping of these brushes, so unfortunately I’m not in a position to be able to specifically save you a set, however, I would be very surprised if I actually sold all 300 sets during the one hour premiere on Thursday. I’m pretty sure I will still have several sets available for several hours and maybe even a few of days after the premiere has gone live. (I could be wrong, but that is sort of what I am expecting.) They will also still be on a sale price for a full week, so I don’t think you’ll miss out on too much. 🥰 As far as the outline that I will have at a discount that day, if you’re interested in that and are not able to get it during the “sale” time frame, just email me at lieslsartisticstudio@gmail.com and I can personally take care of that.
