A very sound gambit in the Reti, an opening used in the recent Candidates tournament. Black suffers all the game with their weak central pawns. That Black extra pawn has no sense because they do not control the center or the queenside and cannot do anything.

I know in person both players Soppe-Ginzburg. I am from Argentina. Ginzburg plays in River Plate and Soppe comes frequently to Buenos Aires for important tournaments.

This seems like a complex opening and seems to break all the rules about developing your pieces before moving your pawns. While I like an aggressive opening, this might be too much for my liking, Still good information in case someone tries to play it against me.
