impressive. really impressive for such a small space and brought in on such an amazing budget. i wish i could put a bathroom like that in my attic, where i live. someday.
Thank you . yes it was very easy and im lucky my husband did it mainly all. im Glad you liked it if you need ideas. pinterest has amazing ideas on attic bathrooms
Nice work Dad and hubbie! I wonder if you took any pics of them connecting the pex to the existing plumbing? I'm thinking of doing something similar in the attic.
Very nice! Habitat is one of our favorite places to shop! You have inspired me to do the same thing in our loft. What are the dimensions of your new bathroom? Thanks!
yes is a great place to shop our dimensions for the bathroom 9 feet long and 4 ft wide. you know where you can also find ideas to do loft bathrooms in pinterest they have great ideas. let me know if i can help with any ideas.
How thick are the floor joists 2x8s or 2x10s? Is it a truss construction? We're thinking of doing similar but are afraid to as we have attic trusses 24" oc with a 2x8 bottom chord so afraid to cut/drill to run plumbing.
i will find out for you and if i have any recomendation ill let you know but the joints we had in the attic where very thick we cut throught them but them we reinforce them with a another joint right below and in some we just cut the hole to go throught it so the pipe can get throught since cutting can weaken the reinforment if makes sence.
i got it from habitat for humanity they had lIke boxes of floor . And since it was a small area i only needed a couple ,but maybe you can find it at silo or homedepot you can find something similar
