The church made their statement weeks ago. It was pretty clear. Also, the church is not involved in OUR personally but some members thought they were doing good works rescuing innocent children and no matter what he did, OUR did rescue innocent children in dangerous situations.

I read the testimonies of these women and it’s harrowing. It read like a porn novel. I wanted to take a shower. Those poor women. Tim’s a disgusting kinky hypocritical pig hiding behind religion. I never even knew he existed him even a year ago. I never bought into all the hype about him. Anyone who accuses those who object is guilty of the very sins being perpetrated. Projection. Tim’s acolytes are crazy and who’d know what harm they would cause these women. Plus I think the Mormon church would do ANYTHING to keep a lid on this. They have a long history of sweeping things under the rug.

Everyone understands that those are 'allegations' right? The evidence so far seems to suggest he used his anti trafficking platform to defraud donars and coerce women into performing sexual acts with him. Whether he or OUR were effective in helping children who were trafficked seems debatable.

@@Meat88 I watched that episode. I don’t take that as confirmation that he was actually excommunicated. Why isn’t the church coming out with a full throated condemnation? That’s pretty much a rhetorical question, I can guess why.

I found it quite informative. Specifically the notion that its likely that more women are coming forward and the evidence is growing faster than they expected.

I learned that there is a second suit with a couple coming forward with additional info and evidence.

This is called a media campaign. It keeps energy and emotion up by dripping out information leaving people to speculate. It has two purposes, the first is to take a person off the table, eg political hit jobs, and second to poison any potential jury pools. At some point you have to ask, even if the accusations are true, who are the bad guys when you can manipulate millions of dollars in free media to undermine justice? By the time they go to trial they will have isolated and bankrupted TB, forcing him to settle.

No and we still don't know accusers names or faces. Doesn't seem right. He has a right to know who they are.

They probably already have come forward. In some court cases, the names of potential witnesses have to be safeguarded so they're allowed to remain anonymous for safety reasons.
