Make yourself a grapple save having to roll the logs and attach hooks Love how it fits in the back of your truck ( I have to trailer mine with the quad) I drag the logs to my trailer winch logs on then have to come back for the quad later 😩
that is a nice trailer; I am looking at building a log trailer; I have some nice logs and hardwood that I am looking at harvesting; I like your design; your breathing seemed pretty laboured; hopefully you are okay; excellent video; thumbs up; all the best from Nova Scotia
no one there to talk to. don't need to talk to myself on video and post on web. Close enough to being left off at the front door at the cheapest old folks home.
What was that? Luca. I think I just witnessed the first log taxi service. Do like the arch. Used to use one that weighed 1500 lbs now arches weigh under 200. How times have changed
I guess you would call it a harrow. It has 5 or 6 points that stick in the ground and help prepare it for seeding a food plot It pivots on that point to get it out of the ground. I hook it up to the winch.
First of all bolts should be run UP from the bottom, makes putting the nuts on easier (they're within view and reach) and you can see if they're working loose more readily. Secondly, why don't you leave the sheave/pulley on the cable when you take it apart, set-up next time would be much quicker. By the way, I use a '01 Foreman with Kenda Bearclaw tires, too... good, high-traction set up. Glad to see you use a ball hitch (as do I) it's much easier than the ol' hitch pin type of attachment. I've hauled 21' long x 19"diameter hickory with my Honda and homemade skidding arch. Also, a bit of grease on the ball hitch mechanism goes a long way in making it easy to operate and to extend its' useful life. I do it (cut/haul wood) because I love it, 66 y/o and still going, I ain't gonna quit now.
4 years after your snarky comment, have you figured out how to fast-forward a video yet? Some guys are just slow. And you have never posted a video of any of your achievements ... which isn't surprising.
