xhumeka it’s not all that bad anymore,after the first few times they stopped to talk to me. Now they just roll by slow down. Wave and give a thumbs up.
You have an excellent plow setup, I have pretty much the same thing but a little newer wheeler - '01 KQ and 50" blade. A tip, re-mount your winch control so you can use it while traveling, should be on the left side of the bars so you can stay on the power and raise the plow without stopping. Your engine keeps dying, check the diaphram in the fuel valve on the bottom of the tank. It shouldn't be doing that and the times I had this issue my diaphram was cracked allowing raw gas to be sucked into the intake.
I'm a newb to plowing with an ATV so this was very helpful. Our sidewalks are of similar diameter, but my plow blade is 54" (not 48" like yours), so I'm not yet sure how that's gonna work out? I'm guessing I'll just have to adjust it from the lesser (15 degree?) angle that you've used on your plow, to a more severe (30 degree) angle.
I want to get a 4wheeler with a plow and would probably help a couple neighbors, but I don’t know anything about plowing with an atv. Stupid question, does it scrape up the concrete and leave marks? I wouldn’t want to try doing something nice and turn into the most hated neighbor. 🤣
The key is to have it configured as equipment and not a toy. When you have a plow on it you can class it as a snowplow and not a quad so falls under clearing equipment code and not the normal approved on road vehicles. It is just like equipping it with a sprayer setup turns it into farm equipment even if you are just spraying Dihydrogen Monoxide to kill the bolt weevil. The real fun is when you equip it with a 15-20 gallon tank, electric pump and spray wand to turn it from a toy into a quick attack fire vehicle.
@@TheUserid82 I live in a large city and I can go anywhere when it snows with my plow. Stop at a gas station and I don't even get a glance from the cops.
First of all instead of plowing your neighborhood sidewalks you should plowed towards the street another thing you should of stop playing around with your helmet camera there is one thing I liked about your 4 wheeler you have the old style. Suzuki forward & Reverse in front of you I had the same one 20 years 👍
cheers - it was my jacket i was fumbling with, it kept hitting my camera and I was trying to fix it (new mount at the time). I agree, it is annoying BIGTIME in the video lol
