Agree, it makes the Alice in Wonderland hair style Dee usually wore look polished. Also agree about Mary's voice - and I saw a picture of her in the 40th anniversary ATWT scrapbook that had synopses through the end of 1995: she's sitting on Ralph's lap and is holding a cigarette in her right hand while wearing a virginal white outfit. Now since I don't recall seeing either Grant or Joyce smoke, if they had knowledge of Mary's smoking, they should have reopened the custody case on the grounds that her smoking was putting Teddy's health in risk (I believe back then there was knowledge of the hazards of 2nd hand smoking). Finally, the red nail polish should have been removed: usually hospitals remove dark nail polish in order to monitor oxygen levels (when someone is undergoing anesthesia or seriously ill, for example).
Grant was right about Lisa: she does light up when she's prying or meddling - which she did excel in - actually she seems to sparkle when she does those things. Here she's trying to pinpoint why Donald left the firm & why he and Mary split up. Interesting that in the middle of this, James & Babs make an entrance, as do Chris & Nancy; guess not much law was practiced that day at Lowell, Hughes & Colman.
From Brad Hollister to Brad Snyder. John Dixon may have been a villain, he still had some morals and he still cared for the people around him unlike James.
Yeah, @NadinRamos8,, James already has that internal fight between good and bad and this is before the scale tipped really bad. He had that thing Larry Hagman really did best...the scad you love to hate.
Agree about Mary's hair - not flattering @ all - I know she's supposed to be in a hospital bed but they should have put like a turban or a scarf on her head. Also, she probably shouldn't be wearing dark nail polish. If someone has had surgery or any procedure involving anesthesia, hospitals usually remove the nail polish - this is in order to help monitor oxygen levels.
@@alexisdiva9 Yes, that red nail polish was hideous. The makeup department goofed up on Mary very frequently it seems like. Hair very brassy also. But so was Lisa’s hair when it was blonde .
Peter Reckell. Should have stayed with. As the world turns instead of waiting his time and energy with the terrible days of our lives he was way better off in oakdale. Then unwatchable. Salem aka days of our autistic people are the evil people aka theo and the very violent criminals aka ben are the heros and role models lives. Because nbc would rather fight 4 a 1.1 rated show that sends this very offensive message then fight 4 it's much more better and superior another world aka the much more better soap besides guiding light and as the world turns.
We should all look that good, Laying in a hospital bed, wearing a butt revealing gown....lol. Full makeup, lip gloss, hair styled....bahaha. Geez. How unrealistic society & TV were back then.
