Thank you Dr. Shah. At 18:16.. In a case of ATYP as dx, 1) the follow-up by a rpt bx should be after what interval of time? 2) What are the biomarkers in a follow-up case of ATYP? Can you pl clarify? TIA.

Within six months of diagnosis. However, urologist may approach it with MRI or liquid biopsy platforms. If MRI or liquid biopsy marker is abnormal, they would re-biopsy, otherwise may opt for follow up. There are a variety of liquid biopsy biomarkers. Common one include PCA3, 4K score, prostate health index. I have written a whole chapter in the prostate biopsy book on this. If you have access to that book I would suggest you check it out.
