In a weird way he could theoretically be correct, everything on earth has a very exact vibration frequency it will self destruct/disassemble from main issue being 1, finding said frequency and 2, said frequency also doesn’t harm the human in any other ways (trying to find it would also kill multiple humans due to organs, skins muscles ect also having these very exact frequencies)

I am in love with how every season it feels more and more like Adam is a superhuman bred in a lab to complete jltg challenges, and Ben is the handler/best friend/parent figure who absolutely needs to be there to manage Adams emotions or else he'll spiral out of control. They're such a good team together and they seem like they have such a wholesome and solid friendship. It's like watching a great couple fall in love and get married, I just can't help but want to see them achieve all their dreams together.

The trust that Ben has in Adam!! When he agreed to let Adam make that last wager I thought I was gonna be sick. It must take a lot of self-regulation skill to just stay chill and supportive and crack jokes while witnessing your teammate like, harness the power of childhood golf trauma and desert heat in order to dissociate into a human clock. Adam is obviously a powerhouse but Ben is an unsung hero, just an absolute rock.

Adam being a human clock is absolutely impressive. Still rooting for Toby and Sam to keep their title of undefeated team, but I think Ben and Adam very much earned their win here if they get it.

i binged the whole channel within a week. now waiting a week for an episode feels insaaaaaane! i actually found it interesting that only one game, the europe tag, got repeated yet. from a game strategy point of view it would be really interesting to see how the games would change over time if they were repeated multiple times. because you learn so much in terms of strategy during each play. most games could also be repeated with the same rules but in a different country/continent just to mix it up.

Even a straight up rematch likely wouldn't be boring. The randomness involved in the challenges - and the fact that it appears that not all of the challenges from a given season's deck have been used - means that we likely have many years of Jet Lag ahead, even if concepts are reused occasionally.

The Alice Springs Taxi Driver did one of my favorite things - telling so many stories. I don't care what they're about, there is something so enjoyable about hearing stories for people 50+, especially those 60+. I've never understand or known why or what it is, but it makes me so happy and feel so good. Other age groups just don't have the same vibes, so I actually get so drained from it, it's strange.

Kind of disappointed with the library challenge. It was a cool concept until it turned out they needed to find a fiction book. Isn't the Dewey Decimal System for sorting non-fiction? Another commenter said the library website lists the book in a classics section, so sure they couldn't just look at L this time, but most times it would work. Why is the real challenge "hope the book isn't checked out / moved to a display section"? At that point the challenge might as well be "flip a coin and call it in the air."

@@gayidek my problem isn't that there is chance, it's that there is only chance. Standing at the train doors had a lot of chance based on what type of train car came through, but there was a strategy to work with. Guessing the correct letter from the sign could have been chance, but there was a thought pattern that went into choosing. How many people buy from a fruit stand was chance, but they were able to observe and make an informed guess at least. Having 3 minutes to find L in an alphabetical list is not interesting enough to balance how much chance is involved, and even if it was the complete divorce of the premise and execution is already disappointing enough. I just wanted them to have to interact with the Dewey decimal systemic the challenge named after it.

The book actually has a decimal number. 823.914 to be exact. I think that was the whole point of the challenge. They thought they just had to look alfabetically for the last name of the author because its a fiction book. But I think the book can only be found undervthe dewey number. They just had to look it up.

It's impossible to scientifically prove which is the "best" episode since there is no such thing as universally objectively good. Once you get past the social constructions of good/bad, pretty/ugly, good/evil you can live as your own master. Until then you will be enslaved by society.
