thank you for your lovely words! omg yes I read that super-boy punching reality thing, which kind of made me go "lol what?" Because I had literally never heard of it before. I once again was just in this deep mystery as to why jason ever came out of the coffin. This was literally the first time as I was googling for answers, that it came up. It's interesting no fanfics bring it up (of which I read too many lol), even when the authors are comic nerds. (And I say nerd in a good way, since I too am a nerd, probably just a bit harder on other things). Was this just a recent explanation or has it been around for ages? I read "the last days" and "batman under the red hood comic" when they came out (after I watched the dc animated film back in the day), but I can't recall any of that stuff. Also idk why google couldnt just give me a bloody straight answer and say "yes the gravekeepers covered the grave"...like maybe I'm terrible at researching but I could not find anyone giving that answer. They seemed more hooked on the "arkham asylum" stuff. Also maybe you can tell me....does it ever show bruces reaction to him realising the grave keepers covered the grave back up? Like i said to another user...did he at LEAST sue them? o_o cos I swear to god, if he didn't fire their arses. lol. I prefer to keep with that timeline though, when he gets found later by talia and then starts training etc etc, rather then getting stolen by Ra's al Ghul and his whole family straight away. But I like I said, i'm just going to be a bit more evil to jason and make my own version of what happened there.. 🤫🤭😵 But I think a viewer of my vid could take it as au*, --------that yes bruce did know------------, or ---------Jason just believes bruce did know, when he didn't and just has misplaced anger---------. You were (still are) one my super big influential vidders back in the day and I still link your vids and stuff to other people when they ask me what are my top vidders. Well, I'll embarrass myself again, but it was like you and lookingforastar and maybe 1 other that completely changed how I saw vidding and made me see it as more of an art form ("our love is flown", and of course your cesare/lucrezia ones, and so many more - videos I always watch and left such a huge impact on me). And I am always just so impressed by how you have always had your signature style and I don't think I've still ever seen anyone vid like you - which is very rare. So I can't believe you watch and comment on my video and liked it! I am REALLY surprised you are big fan of jason! I just never expected it! I am the same. I can't give two shits about bruce, but I love jason SO FUCKING much. I just wish the people around him would give him a chance, but instead it seems like most of them just always seem to want to see the worst in him, and not the good, and not give him the help he needs or the love he deserves. I love how you mention all the lovely attributes of jason. It's what I don't show in my vids much, but its also what I feel. I wish Bruce would stop failing him. I have never gone down vidding the whole arkham knight saga. But now that I feel pretty much 100 percent satisfied with how I have explored the original storyline of Jason. I really would like to focus on that whole other timeline/universe. Only problem is, I have not watched the game or read the comic. Only seen some clips, and like you have said, taken some audio. So I will need to do my research more of that whole situation, because I think I just have the basic outline. I'll need to save this because you've made my day with your words. But ofc! I've always loved your videos, the GoT (+ petyr/sansa) and cesare/lucrezia ones are def some of my faves (I think it's obvious that I'm a socker for dark themes/ships lmao) espeeecially loose lips, sink ships. Which even inspired me enough to start my own vid in the borgias-style, wanting to link you in the desc (sadly, I lost inspiration and I just never finished it :/ but I still think about it up to this day!) so to find out that I'm also an inspiration to you it's so... He's the most interest one of the batfamily to me. And you know... He's been through heavier shit than to blame the world for the death of his parents and therebefore being a misterious grumpy jerk, picking up broken kids in the streets (also, I agree... Something's just not right about that? WHY doesn't anyone talk about it, lmao) Omg, I thought you read Under the Red Hood!!! (there's also an animated movie!) okay please, I'll need you to read/watch that one before anything else. It involves the whole story with Jason coming back as the red hood, kidnapping the joker to do what he did to him, and then batman appears and confronts him AND I don't wanna spoil too much but the story is so powerful, full of rage and emotional quotes, it's impossible not to empathize with Jason. That was the very first moment I hated B with all I had, also because he has done/said lots of shit after that and even before, when Jason was being trained and he screwed up (obviously, because he was still A KID and so temperamental) Bruce himself said to his 10 year old face that he shouldn't have trusted him to become a robin cause he would never be as great as Dick (the 1st one) was. To a HOMELESS KID who has experienced nothing but comparison, disappointment and reject throughout his life ?? ... yeah. And that's completely canon, btw. For me, you were one of "main" editors on youtube, But maybe I was looking in an editing bubble, idk. But I know I'm just a horrendous commenter sometimes (which is why you probably thought I didnt even notice), and I have the habit to take for granted that good editors must just know they are being watched. Which is a stupid way to think. lol. I definitely place you in like this special "era" of editing. Now its all changed of course, with the youngins coming on board. lol. They have their own styles going. I feel myself being influenced by that a lot too. Which is not always good. There was this weird moment where everyone's videos literally started to look the same, I couldn't tell them apart. D: But I think it can be normal for editors to start that way then slowly transform. which I think they have started to do. When they changed it to jason being held hostage in the asylum for however long...but dang that stuff is just so tragic as well. I never watched Euphoria in full episodes, so I have a clear division between using the actor as nate and then jason. But yeah when I saw that breakdown scene of jacob, I was like...wow....this is great acting and it reminded me of jason nearly straight away. And yes I thought he had the best body build! I was going to use that actor from...."deadly class" the main dude...but I thought he wasn't buff enough or tall enough. But I did consider using him as a young jason, and then another actor for when he becomes red hood. But I enjoy using edward furlong for young jason too much and I thought he looked like Jacob a bit with the floppy hair. He even looks like christian bale sometimes tbh. I mean...back before he became a drug addict. yikes. >_> I was never a fan of those 3 batman films. Actually....i dont think I ever watched the whole series with Cbale. I am just SO bored when watching anything batman. :O I just go through it for clips. lol. So I don't actually know how nice or not nice bale's batman is. Although I did noticed he smiled a lot. So actually thank you for telling me, cos it gives me more insight into if I was ever to use him again. It was honestly just easier to find matching scenes with those films (and the same aspect ratio), but I enjoyed how gruff/older and grumpier afflecks batman was in comparison to who you could cast as jason. I started another vid using affleck a while back, but couldn't make it work. Rpatz is a bit young, but ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I'm taking liberties. lol. I also found that film so boring, but his lack of emotion is also helpful in these vids, especially to show the conflict between his lack of emotion, and then everything jason is dealing with and expressing. I am going to read them, because while I saw clips of the arkham gameplay, he does seem super duper intense in comparison to "Under the red hood" jason, and it would be good to get a proper understanding why and not just read the wiki of the gameplay. aw well thank you for leaving me your comment! it was so nice to read! and dont worry....i always have to tell people...I am one of those annoying ones who take like a month to reply sometimes.
