AU PAIR IN EUROPE: MY EXPERIENCE & ADVICE 

This video completely inspired me to become an au pair - two days after I watched it I signed up to Au Pair World and now I'm an Au pair in Vienna! Thanks so much for making this video and helping me change my life for the better 😊😊

I was an au pair in the USA for two years and I am from england - it was an incredible experience and i made a second family living with them. I travelled so much too :)

I'm from Germany and have been an Au-Pair in England, the Netherlands and Ireland. Its amazing that as a European I can just go there without stressing about a visa! :)

Great video Zoey! Living with a 3 year old now I kind of feel like I'm an Au Pair but it's true, just being around children and loving them as if they are your own really opens your eyes to having kids of your own one day. I totally get what you mean

omg just stumbled upon this as I was watching some of your vids... I was guessing you were maybe an au pair but hadn't seen anything about it on your channel til this video showed up haha I was an au pair too!! Two years ago outside of Paris!! I hope you're loving it! Some tough times but I feel like you have a super positive attitude that you'd get through the tough times easy!

I always thought Au Pairing could have been fun! I think I was always scared I would spend TOO much time with kids :D I love kids. But with all my nieces and little bros and sisters..I always knew how much I appreciate the time without kids. They are will be a part of a different chapter in my life ;)

Wow, I checked out the au pair site; I know what I'm doing next summer! I'm a teacher; so, this will be perfect for me to find a family for 2 months in the summer and help them (I looked; some only ask for help 1-3 months at a time).

I'd love to find the right family to au pair with when I go to Rome. We had an au pair and now she's like part of the family! She stayed with us in Australia and came over to see us in Canada too!

As an Italian, Rome is extremely chaotic. There is so much confusion with the buses and subways, it's extremely chatic. Italy is NOT at all like that in the North. It's completely different. Rome is definitely a place most Italians feel really bad, frustrated and disappointed about because it's so messed up in everyway

Super interesting, right to the point, answered almost all of my questions 😂😍 I want to Au Pair in *ta dan ta dan* Canada! (😂) I wouldn't go to Europe on my first trip tho, it's kinda far away haha but I really like Canada (I'm from Dominican Republic) and I'm willing to go as soon as I get my degree. I wouldn't like going for a year tho, as it would be my first time. Do you think I could do it for a summer? Like, is it possible or a year is the only option? Also, you mentioned a weekly pay, I thought that "pocket money" was only given in Europe. Does it applies for America as well? 🙈💛

I stayed in Australia for 8 months n got a few jobs but couldn't get an intensive chance to stay in Australia for a reason. I just came back to China a few days ago n wanna get started with my last year of studying in uni. I tried a little bit interviews with Au Pair families when I was in Australia. I think it's good for you to get an Au Pair role while holding a working holiday visa n it's also easier for you to get one rather than applying for it overseas. But I just think it's a good chance to get along with kids,deal with problems with the family and definitely get some experience about it. You can definitely add it on your resume/CV. It's such a pretty quite personal Choice though. A nice,chilling n bubbly family is definitely essential. And probably a driving license...

Hi beautiful, I'm a little low on time so I had to skim here and there, so you probably mentioned this, but did you need to possess some sort of A1 level certificate to prove that you have a basic understanding of the language? If so, when did you have to do that?
