Hey Sandu! Au pairing is a great way to get to know a new culture and to learn the language of your host country. So if you ask us, it's always a good idea to go abroad as an au pair! :)

You can't really refer to it as "payment", it's pocket money you receive on a mutual cultural exchange and not at all comparable to a "salary" or anything the like.
