I remember watching this game and what a game it was! I forgot about all the talent we had back then! Coach Tuberville gave us some great memories! 6 straight victories in a row against Alabama! He was the direct reason for Alabama to hire Coach Saban. Unfortunately for us the rest of the SEC :) WAR EAGLE!!!
@@Ggdp97 ...no hate but Auburn has more wins, more head to head victories, same amount of bowls....more conference championships and so on ....and depending on outlet we have no less than 3 nattys up to 8 ( we only claim 3 not even 04 when undefeated and usc had to vacate ) ...were 12th all time in victories but over looked because of Bama damn it lol..and yes national Championships are huge but technically if u only go by that...Penn, Cornell, Illinois, Harvard Ga Tech and several other have more than both of us...but we know that's crap lol
Brad padgett Auburn claims 2. 1957 and 2010. The only two they’ve won through the wire polls. But they got hosed in 2004 not being able to play for a national title when they were undefeated.
Loudest game I've every heard at Jordan-Hare. Even the old 70 yr old alum were yelling for this game. Haven't heard that much noise since. I miss good Auburn defense. It's been to long. WDE.

This game was, IMO, the main reason why Florida was such a big underdog/nobody picked them to win in the BCS National Title Game more than the actual reputation of Ohio State.
This the game when everyone got Email's the next day threatening to put up field goal nets because the student section was throwing Florida footballs out of the stadium 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and we were loud... Listening to those Florida fans all day... Since like 5 a.m. that morning because gameday was there
Nobody likes the SEC to win (no matter the stats) unless it is BAMMER! FL had the one loss, but they were easily the best team in the nation that year! IMO! Sometimes... it just isn't your night! Tubby was a mastermind at knocking off the top, especially at home! No idea why, but he could do it! Leak was one of the best and most humble QBs also imo. He was fine as a senior to play tag team with Tebow, a freshmen! That's the attitude I want on my team!
