I live in Auckland, very safe, good for raising a family, naturally beautiful, great weather here..winter not too cold, summer not too hot, Government very transparent and stable. I love this city if you are looking for quality life!
How's the cost of living and the housing market in Auckland? I'm considering moving out of Toronto, Canada in a few years. I'm strongly considering Queensland Australia, cities such as GoldCoast, Brisbane, and possibly Townsville. Auckland seems like a nice place but I know nothing about it. How cold or warm is it there during the winter months?
As a native of Auckland (Takapuna), I have to say your presentation here is very attractive, Expedia. I love how your camera angle manages to capture my hometown's finesse. Please make more of NZ wonder ! :D
I work in Auckland. It is a beautiful and culturally diverse city. Beaches are second to none. Coffee culture is insane. I wouldn’t move anywhere else.
nicolle n. NEW ZEALAND IS BORING, FULL OF SIMPLETONS. NO VARIETY. THIS VIDEO TELLING YOU ECO FRIENDLY BULLSHIT, REALITY IS DIFFERENT. THEY PREY ON RIPPING OFF TOURIST & IMMIGRANTS! AUSTRALIA IS BETTER!
I was there in New Zealand last year and going there again this year, one of the most beautiful country and Queenstown is just out of the world. I wish to stay permanently .....
Im from colombia and im trying to go there, study and work. Im so exited coz lot of ppl said that this is an amazing city, and wartchin' this video, i think im sure to go there. Wish me luck :$$$$
It's actually sort of boring but it is very international like there are many different shops that have loads of different products from countries, the education is very high leveled, the food is amazing, good quality of everything, quite technology forward even though the city isn't that futuristic. And NZ as a whole has so many other environments: Snowy, stormy/rainy (most of the time lol), sunny beaches, lakes, European styled forests, national New Zealand forests, palm treeish forests and the best is there are hardly any dangerous animals! Not very much spiders (most of them are tiny and quite uncommon except for the daddy long legs which isn't poisonous) and the only mammals are in zoos, farm animals, there are ferrets, rats and possums that where brought in are now disappearing, there are also the pets.
Aukland Il'be there in 1 year or so I've always thought is the perfect place to study and have a good time with the people and friends party at night. Go cycling and fishing my dream will make come true soon. 😎😍
Its been almost 2 years since my visit to New Zealand and my photos still don't do the beautiful country justice! I have to visit again when I have the chance!
I went to Auckland 3 times in my life i did a lot of things there such as going to Auckland Zoo,seeing the Walking With Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular,Going to Aquarium and seeing to How To Train Your Dragon Arena Spectacular
This is the place which I find a second hometown in my heart. I've spend all my elementary school yrs in Auckland. I'm 19 now, and I really miss my childhood in NZ. I want to be there oneday, with my friends. And I`m gonna introduce Takafuna beach as my hometown to my friends.
You haven't done any videos of the South Island!?!? The South Island is the most scenic area in New Zealand, with the snow-capped mountains, glowing waters, and most of the landscape settings in Lord of the Rings. And Rotorua and Queenstown are missing, New Zealand's two major tourist cities.
+Damon242 We have filmed Queenstown and it is in our list of videos to produce soon. We had to wait to do a summer and winter shoot for this spectacular destination. We also have a few other surprises for the South Island....
In my list , Expedia thank u so so so much for all ur info , expanding our vision with quenching our thirst of knowing the world so closely. such a soothing and happy little clip for such a damaging activity: travelling... there are few other human occupations so polluting like travelling. It is very bad for anyone....stay home, bicycle, play tennis, do non-polluting things....and don't travel, especially by plane
I’m only here once. I want to explore this beautiful world and make memories. Travelling is the one thing that keeps my mental health stable, as I’m sure it will for many other people.
@@Soph99 so, you're trading your mental health for some more pollution injected into this beautiful world. That's a little selfish, don't you think? I always wondered how come this mental health issues stuff is mainly happening in the rich countries and I think I came to the answer: life too good and a lot of boredom. The people in poor countries have to struggle through every day and don't have the time to fall into "mental health" abysses.
@@moldovandorin6187 well yes, my mental health is more important to me and I’m allowed to be selfish about that. I’m not going to be on this earth for long so I’m going to live it how I want to. Mental health is an issue globally and it actually probably worse for people in less economically developed countries because of what they have to deal with. Lucky you for not having to deal with mental health issues but it’s extremely hurtful for you to presume mental health issues stem from boredom, you have no idea what people have gone through. Just be a little more sensitive
@@Soph99 just imagine ... 8 billion people thinking like you ... everyone doing whatever it takes regardless of the polluting consequences ... it would be a full blown disaster with nature and wildlife. But also, imagine how lucky we are that more than half of earth's population can't afford travelling and they have to live a boring life of just struggling to provide the next meal on their table. Interestingly enough, many of these poor people are smiling and enjoying a sunny day, a bird singing, a rain, some not fancy restaurant food.....and that's all. Just imagine what a difference is among people and how spoilt you are
@@alvinaliathos6137 yes, exactly. That's why for me this is the most beautiful city and for you most beautiful piece of trash. In my eyes when I see most beautiful city than You cannot tell me that most beautiful piece of trash. That's what I thought when you put a comment here I did not understand do You want to change my opinion or something else. Anyway, God bless You.
Thnx to Expedia who provide us such a great video of Auckland.i hope that most of the people like us gain a good knowledge about this city as well as beauty of this world.again thnx to Expedia hoping much more
This is great video, but most people in the rest of NZ look down on Auckland and think it's ugly. Weather not as good, traffic terrible and crazy house prices. Still, to each their own! There are many beautiful small cities in NZ - Look up Mount Maunganui or Queenstown.
Videos like this are so much better when you have an actual New Zealander who doesn't butcher the pronunciation of Maori words and says things like "the North Island" rather than the improper "North Island".
Yes there are many earthquakes, but depends on the place, it does not happen throughout the island. Still remains a wonderful city with many charming places. California is also a beautiful beautiful city, I was never there, but must be lovely too :)
After visiting most of the interesting places of the world.we were advised to visit NZ otherwise our life will be incomplete.and we must see NZ.although we were.of the view that after visiting Norway.the Serene quiet scenic region and Israel there's nothing left to be done..God has been kind to flash in our minds that we must see southern hemisphere also like Australia n NZ.Accordingly we shall be visiting this region in April..By seeing Expedia n comments of you guys we are happy that we certainly have missed.a lot if not seen NZ..Best wishes..
I'm an Aucklander. tbh those suggestions of where to visit are really really bad, but I don't really want to see tourists when i'm walking around all the good spots so. sorry all round :)
