Wow! Having watched several of their interviews, & laughing through this one, actually felt like the high point was right at the end, when Andy told her hold up your Whitney shirt. (The shirt was actually the 1st thing mentioned but she kinda just brushed by & talked about mimosas). When she held it up, Bruno, who many proclaim to be vocally & talent wise the baddest cat out there, immediately says, ‘The greatest!’ Andy: ‘Beautiful!’ You jus hear the love they have, not jus for the music but for the o.g.’s who laid the groundwork, & in Whitney’s case, also set a standard, giving all she had. I’ve heard many, whether experienced vocalist or teachers, as well as non-music peeps, say how effortless Bruno makes some of his powerful or dynamic ranged singing seem. It’s the same thing when watching the video of Whitney singing the National Anthem. I’m sure like many, they were heartbroken when she left us the way she did, & then her daughter too? It’s beyond sad. No one looking at a baby ever thinks of the end. Surely Whitney would’ve loved these 2 guys & their S.S. project. Also, I can’t be the only one who would love to have heard Whitney & Bruno croon something together, even if it was a throwback, like a Marvin Gaye / Tammyi Terrell joint.
Chillleeee they are some fools lol girl I was not expecting that song to be what it was at all until I heard "this bitch" I looked around like he cussed me out 😩
Great interview. Love these two so much. Perfect collaboration on so many levels, with an end product that will stand the test of time, doesn't happen often in your life, so don't miss it. #silk sonic 🐨💞
I love how the enormity of pioneering soul & funk legend Bootsy Collins christening Silk Sonic just completely went over this young lady's head, bless her millennial heart, LOL.
Not a fan of silk sonic, don't think no one is on point like the Hooligans, not feeling it Bruno get back with your boys or go another way, not hating just being true
