Audis in Germany can be ordered with a very basic spec, one which we don't get in the UK for example. So you can have the basic quality of an Audi with the extra price of all the options. Years and years ago (in the days of the Audi 80/100) these basic spec cars had like one wing mirror and no radio.
Ma passion - Care to elaborate why you think a petrol engine should be faster than a diesel if they have the same amount of power? I bet you can't, dumbfk.
Petrol engines can usually go to higher top speeds compared to diesels mostly due to the higher RPM they can reach. Of course it also matters how they are geared.
As a side note: Unfortunately this specific Audi A3 does not have a Vehicle Infomation System (VIS) built in, so we could not record any fuel consumptions. Also the GoPro does not handle filming a sunlit scenery out of a darker enclosed space very well. That's why the roads are portrayed way too bright in the video.
+Azathoth Thanks for the tip. We already tried using GoPro's SpotMeter function but ended up having the cars inside way too dark. It has that EV Compensation Setting so we'll definitely try adjusting it . Thanks again mate. ;)
Why didn't you used the 6th gear? I have one A3 Sportback with that same powertrain and it gives 215/217 on the odometer...straight, perfectly plain road... Thanks
It is very unlikely that we'll ever get the chance to drive one, as they are rare in Germany. I have never seen one in my life. ;) But if, then absolutely.

Hello, it depends on if you drive in normale usage or top speed. In normal use it should be sth. about 4-6L/100km. The top speed drive around 15L/100km
So weird a 2016 car without any steering wheel button like for the volume.. I think it was an optional right.. german cars makes you always pay way too much for "optionals" (though the steering wheel is really good looking lol)
Well, this is an entry level Audi without much extras, if you choose higher packages you get the buttons and much more, but then you have to pay more. This way you can sell your car to much more people, since you can make it cheaper if you have 3-4 different packages.

Es curioso, siendo el mismo motor que el que monta el Seat León, en el Audi suena un poco menos refinado y parece mover el coche con algo menos de soltura, lógico porque es más pesado. También parece que el ruido de rodadura en el Audi es mayor o que la insonorización no es todo lo buena que se merecería. Aún así los 200 km/h para este motor son pan comido, porque, insisto, este motor no tiene 109 cv ni de coña...:)
Not fast at all and very noisy for a premium priced car. The wheel also looks ugly without leather and buttons on it. I don't understand people paying 25k+ € for this car.
