We start talking about the A3 engine where my first criticism falls, it is not a bad engine, it is the famous 1.4 TSI that Audi calls 35 TFSI, personally I do not find differences between one and the other, I have always thought that Audi names its engines They are pure marketing, this engine gives good consumption, it is reliable and features are good but not so much for the price of the A3, I would have preferred a 1.5 TSI engine here or one of the entry-level 2.0 engines, something that makes this model exclusive given that is what it intends. a luxury brand right?
In terms of equipment, it has just what is necessary, I think it would have been good if it had at least come with more driving aids, but in general it has good safety, good sound as standard, a virtual cookpit, and personally, good security systems. headlights that help on the road at night. From there we found nothing else to highlight
Where the A3 surprised me the most was its driving given that it awakens a dynamism in your way of driving, where I think this comes mostly from its box and the way it manages the gears, given that when you accelerate for what we know this type of engine We know how it reacts and its limitations, but here in the A3 it really always invites you to drive with a more dynamic driving which translates into a car that is fun every day and without losing comfort in the ride.
In conclusion, it is a good car on paper, it has more than enough equipment and a good driving sensation, it lacks some things, yes, but that does not mean that it is no longer a bad car compared to the A3, where its very negative point comes from. its price, because you are not credited with what you pay, I understand that Audi is a “premium” brand but this model lacks many things to be called that, if we saw it from a world of generalist brands it would be a good product.
