@audi5inline can you please give me some assistance with this? I have tried your method and I'm getting next to no flow through the pump when doing this technique, I've even tried fitting a priming bulb on the feed side between filter and pump and again next to no fuel comes through the return, car was running fine before and its a quattro, any help will be much appreciated.
Do you have to bleed the other part of the fuel system ? You know I mean, unscrew a little bit the injectors lines until the you can see the fuel spraying and then you tighten the lines ?
thanks for your quick reply mate ... a friend bought one of these was running ok but hit limp mode so he changed egr valve in doing so had to remove fuel lines he has managed to get car started but its now smoking he didnt do this procedure with hand pump so hoping its just that would you think thats a posibilty as smokes like a fulty injector and no power anymore
This is useless... In stead of vacuuming return pipe you could just fill that with fuel.. Actually after fuel filter change There is no need to do this. Just put pipes together with fuel filter, and turn ignition on/off.. for example some 10 times... Fuel pump what's in the fuel tank will do the rest of work because when you turn ignition key, fuel pump in tank pump fuel and push air back to tank via return line
