I think you just save me a couple of hundreds, I need a 2020-20224 Audi s4 trapezoidal airbag, but they are a lot more expensive than a 16-19 Q7 airbag
Although you're supposed to disconnect the battery, I had a scan tool (VCDS) handy and therefore did not disconnect the battery. The first time I did it, the airbag light did not come on afterwards, but one of the shifter paddle harnesses was damaged and giving me an error, so when I disconnected the airbag a second time, the light did come on when I reconnected it/turned the ignition on.
i am afraid to remove the airbag without disconnect the battery because i m not to handle and is possible to ignite the airbag but at the same time i am afraid to disconnect the batt because acc radar,and sign recognition camera decalibrate and the recalibration is pretty expensive, have you an advice for me ?
