@@cmidas3396 I hope so too mines a Audi A6 2011 C7, problem with the high pressure fuel pump as its leaking. Would like to know where I can find the transmission fluid to check it.
@teerex9149 There's a fill hole on the passenger side of the transmission. I have a video on changing the transmission fluid if you look through my channel.
Colder plugs were key on mine man, I was having misfires up too, NGK bk9’s gapped to.026 it’s perfect. Those plugs come .030 from factory, the ones I took out were .036! I need to go my DSG service next
@Sinister6_cuv It's not so much misfires but colder plugs take more heat out of the combustion chamber which protect the motor more from detonation/pre-igniton. Some misfires can be from improper sparkug gap on boosted cars running more boost.
@@Sinister6_cuv I have a AEM WMI kit hooked up on my S4, I’m going to end up running it in a future vid, aluminum block kinda sketches me out which I why I think he unhooked it, but I have to try it. I look forward to e40 next
Just opened mine and realized that that little piece that holds the spring is broken 🤦🏻♂️ Do you know to buy one of those? Audi only sells the complete pump, but damn, buying a whole pump just for that tiny little thing is crazy! I don’t even know the exact name of that, don’t know how to search.
Did you notice more noise from fuel pump after upgrade? I have bought pump with autotech piston. After installing it was fine but next day it become a loţ noiser...
decent vid, For the sake of a small amount of money It is definitely worth changing out the Cam follower (piece that fell out when you took it off) while you are in there
When you removed your hpfp and showed it in front of the camera , it looked like it was leaking, or what was all that fluid around the hpfp spring? My car has a long crank every mornings, and then starts ok, my oil cap smells like gasoline.. i changed the oil already but i think i have a bad pump... Thanks Nice video.
That was oil from the cam. It's normal. Sounds like your car is running rich or could be bad fuel injectors. You should get it checked as soon as possible.
any one else have fuel in oil since installing the 034 internals? i installed into a brand new pump and is not the seal that usually leaks (inside the hpfp) thats leaking. im wondering if its the shaft to the internal part of the internal hpfp sealing coupler that 034 makes you reuse the oem one BUT.... integrated engineerings kit replaces this coupler so its perfect fit to the shaft sent.
@cmidas3396 Have you sniffed your oil much? i know it was awhile ago u installed so id think you would have noticed during ur last oil change ltft are -3.4 -2.8. so shouldnt be a vac leak. ive checked my fuel rail pressure with engine off and it rises in time and it does not drop off so injectors shouldnt be leaking.... i may putvmy old pump in to try. or put the new stock internals with 0 miles (that i replaced with 034 with brand new pump ) in this new hpfp with 5k miles, and see how it goes.
if you have vcds or obdeleven track your high fuel pressure requested and actual. If your actual is lower than your requested then you have a leak somewhere. Just installed mine and have no issues so far.
@richardyim7543 i did use vagcom and my cansensor gauge and i keep an eye on the hpfp all the time. it kept up with demand no problem but it was leaking internally. it was a bad 034 piston/shaft. the shaft was .002 bigger diameter then a new oem pump and had lots of score/ wear marks with only 3k miles. ( i bought new and installed into a brand new genuine hpfp) since i have installed a ie hpfp and have no fuel smell in my oil any more( after an oil change and running 2.5k miles since) i run 034 software and use all there parts. i just got a bad kit.
