I'm actually having a similar'ish dilemma. I'm trying to decide whether to pick up an F30 335/435i or an Audi A6 BiTDI - I need something for winter (here in Bavaria) but also for some long drives. I want something that's fun to drive, but honestly just can't decide. I know the car tax on the BiTDI is pretty insane, the insurance is about the same as the 335i though. @alexandercarlsson I'd be interested to know what you decide to go with! Do you have the limousine or coupe 335i? How is it for back passengers and luggage?

@@AnfecsIan well the 3 series is definitely smaller for passangers but since it's petrol, it's fun car. Get the A6 if you do long journeys and want more comfort. 😁

@@AnfecsIan I had the limo. I drove it last winter in Sweden and it was mostly fine on regular plowed roads. Though a little sketchy with 400hp and RWD. You definitely need good tires. I went with Michelin X ice North 4. Awesome tires. In summer it was an absolutely wonderful car. Smile on my face every time i drove it. I really loved that car. But since i am living in the middle of Sweden i just need more ground clearance and BMW doesnt offer this on anything other than SUV models. Passenger space was fine. Cargo space was ok. I am going to pick up an Allroad BiTDi as soon as i find one with low milage and good spec. And that reason for me is just ground clearance, Cargo space and keeping good performance. If you just want a car that is more fun to drive. I am sure the BMW is the better choice. Very easy tunability and the community is awesome. If BMW offered something like the 335i touring with ground clearance like the Allroad. I would not even think twice..

Sold my M5 f10 for an A6 BITDI competition . Best choise I've ever made
