Hello what year was your car? Mine's 2002 and i can't enter the block, one of my friends said that it has to be at least 2003 so you can enter the block and code lock/unlock beep.
Mine was 2002 too. If you are talking about blocks, then maybe you are using VAG-COM with long coding? It won't work with A6 C5, you need to use different version
Hey! I knew that like 8 years ago 😁 I remember that you need OBD2 to USB cable, VAG COM with coding function and recode one of your modules, but I don't even remember which one. Try to Google for a6 c5 coding and you will find out. That's the way I did it 🙂
Hello. You need to change car location to Canada, if you use kilometers or USA if you use miles. Then after opening driver door you will hear lovely gong.
Thank you very much, I have always wondering why is this gong at tests and there is no signal for seat belts and this nusty beep for other problems... Does Canada location affects other features?
Ogi PP actually I also was wondering why belt warning is not working, even if it was turned on. I found no sollution about this problem for my car. Maybe there were versions with and without sensor and warning light on dash. About canadian mode I found that it affects only on open door gong and distance counting, so you shouldn't have any problems.
