In this video I will show you the steps to remove and replace a faulty glow plug from you EA288 Gen 1 engine. Hope this helps!
I am not a certified mechanic. I am not responsible for any damage you do to your vehicle.

My car has fail P67200, fail glow plug cylinder 2, thanks for the info, I'll be watching out time and cost in when I go to the garage, it seems easy to solve and hope not expensive, thanks

Easy job depending on the engine. Should take you about 5 minutes if you have easy access to the glow plugs.

Today Im gonna to replace all 4 of them, is the motor temp important or not, because I have no much time to wait motor to cool down? Thanks

Hi! It helps if the engine is warm to the touch to help release the spark plugs. Do remember that the 3rd spark plug is different and acts as a sensor as well.

@@RandomCarRepair Got a repair manual with the engine code for mine, too and managed to locate it, what a pain, left wheel needs removal, then left driveshaft cover then the driveshaft itself and only then you have access to it. I won’t be able to do this myself at home so I’ll take it to a local garage. Thanks for getting back, though🤗

Hi I have the same car with same engine and my engine light is on with glow plug sometimes flashing I checked the code is coming up as p0674. Where did you purchase your glow plug and what brand is the best.

The P0674 code reffers to "Cylinder 4 Glow Plug Circuit/Open" which means the glow plug circuit is not working properly. Try replacing your glow plug with a working glow plug from another cylinder just to rule out faulty wiring. If the error code switches to another cylinder that's your problem - Buy a new glow plug and you should have it fixed. I bought this "Bosch" one. In Croatia we have many online car parts stores so I just ordered one from there.

The third glow plug is in the position 3 starting from the front of the engine to the back. Front of the engine 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 Back of the engine. Hope this helps.
