Just think about the amount of service repair visits you'd have to go to with all those mechanical moving parts ... just to drive the darn thing, at that.
I've already ordered one for delivery to Mars on the first available transport slot. I've added the optional flight pack that adds a gravimetric drive unit, the life support module, and the ZPE module so I can use it to power my house there when there is an energy outage. Can't wait for it to arrive. The Cybertruck is a bit agriculture these days so that will be relegated to work.
🤩 Definitely a cool car; not sure if this is practical for everyday use though. I bet it weighs a TON from all those hydraulics needed to transform the vehicle. Overall, great work Team Audi! 👏🏾
@@pearblood 😏 You sound new to the world…or at least to the vehicle industry, so let’s break this down: The average car weight is between 3k-4,000lbs. The ‘23 Audi S8 weighs 5,000lbs. Hydraulics for this prototype alone can be estimated to weigh over 400lbs. You can’t expect to sling this model around like a standard Audi sedan. Capisce? 😄
@Carl Gunderson agreed on some points.. I still think most of us that aren’t super young will be able to drive our gas cars as long as they’ll last.. they may raise gas taxes to an exorbitant level, but if we are willing to pay, we should be alright..

The car looks beautiful and futuristic, but there are nuances: 1. This is the opening of the rear doors, it is terrible and not convenient, it would be better to do like classic cars. 2. A huge amount of smart electrical equipment, such cars will often break down (so don't be surprised if your car suddenly goes crazy), and they will also be subject to evil hackers, which is also worrying. But if you remove these disadvantages, then I like the car in everything, I would go for such :)

Audi designer are definitely well paid fasho ... They the only car brand that have designs in the past, present and concept that is esthetically pleasing to take in. Can't say that abt other brand *cough cough BMW/Mercs
If the future is making everything simple and no creative design. We have officially failed the future of automotive design. This car is so simplistic it’s a disgrace to the future of design for cars. The one who designed this clearly has no skill in design and should go work at McDonald’s
