Audi B5 A4 1.8t ATW to AWM Harness Swap Narrowband to Wideband and VVT Part 1 

email me your tune and I'll verify it was coded out correctly. RENOxDECEPTION@gmail.com You may also need to swap to an AWM trigger wheel. Reason being, I don't think it's coded out, because if it was, it would not be requesting the intake cam to advance (vvt active). Sometimes tuners make a mistake and when they're leveling the entire vvt map, they accidentally set it to be always active instead of always inactive. Tell your tuner to look for this map, the second image is actually incorrect and it should be inverted, which I did afterwards: instagram.com/p/BXfBl7IHPBf/ And they will also need to copy the timing maps from the non-active state to the active state as well.

+WarHawk427 also the car i got the ecu off of had a bunch of other mods i only git the 225 injectors and the baileys dv30, i got the motor harness looks good condition no wrips or nothing and im hoping the ecu might b tuned because the car seemed to b running the 225

+Volksdabbin 20vT pull back the rubber covers on the coil pack connectors, the wires crack and short out very often

Did your swap work?

+Honestly Delcor The heads are identical except for the porting for the intake, swap over your cam chain tensioner and camshafts from the old head to the new one (because VVT), also I would recommend running the AEB intake for the larger ports.

Any codes? Does check engine light light up with key on? This indicates power to the ecu.

+James Delaney check connections from harness to interior harness. Also fuses for ecu especially fuse #29

+James Delaney no codes it did earlier with crank position but it was just not plugged all the way cleared an no codes but no spark to coils. cranks fine gets fuel and everything just no spark.

theres 3 wires from ecu to interior harness that the 2000 has that the 2001 does not. i bought atw for 300 bhg just swapped complete amw took amw harness and amw ecu..... do i need to use the atw harness and clip the different plugs in or?? cause im stumped and audi telling me im basically retarded

@@WarHawk427 so I found the wires it was cut in the loom. I got swapped. I have the harness swapped completely. I didnt haave vvt solenoid like yours. I have my buddy helping tune the car. Vvt is coded out but I'm currently getting a P0012 16396 cam timing over retarded. Did you have any issues with you swap? How hard was it to swap the vvt stuff and what do I need for it?
