Test drove the xc40, found it quite cramped at the back. Partly because of the all black interiors. The steering was too light and the plastics just didn't feel as plush as the bmw. The bmw 20i has a quicker acceleration than the 20d, and ik the analogue dials are a little outdated but they're such a great set of dials! I'm not ready for screens to take over everything.

@@spmacros You are right, the taxing just makes it 1.8x-2x the actual worth. Personally, I'd only consider the full size SUVs, A4/ 3 Series/ C-class / XE/ S60 and nothing in between it. Whaddya say peeps? :)
@@spmacros it’s more about the brand value , look at superb it comes with same Audi A4 190 hp engine , A6 like identical space and loads more features over Audi A4 still it costs 30-34 lakhs ex showroom and Audi A4 costs 44-48 lakhs ex showroom despite losing out on what superb has to offer , it’s all about brand name in luxury cars
Well i'd say that Purchasing Q2 would very much be just turning up a Flaunting or Grandstanding Manner...Overall Volvo XC40 appears to be Very Appealing Choice out in these 3 categories👍👌.
The BMW especially the diesel will smoke off the other two in acceleration and driving dynamics. Plus it’s easily the most spacious and then it’s a BMW. No wonder it rules this segment.

Q2 is the correct segment actually. Q3 is almost the size of GLC/X3 and that has been their main selling point for Audi. But now Audi realised they can sell Q2 in the same price range as x1 and make q3 slightly more expensive
@@raghuveer4552 Audi Q3, BMW X1, and Merc GLA are of same segment. Current Q2 being CBU, hence more costly. GLC, X3 and Q5 are in same segment. New Q3 will launch in March and by that time Audi may start local assembly of Q2 which will bring price down.

The Q2 has no business in the company of the XC40 and X1. Your comparison just drives home the comical tragedy that is the Q2 thanks to Audi India's utter incompetence.
63 lakhs is just not done for the Audi. Inspite of being a smaller car, its almost 11 odd lakhs more than the other two. Better get a vw troc instead of the Q2.

What a stupid statement by the narrator at 2:47. He says that the dashboard is gr8 but doesn't "feel special" ? What sheer nonsense. Also, all these auto review magazines tend to have a bias for the newer models. "Quirky" is a term they use for over-the-top (and often strange, ugly) designs. What kind of a mature person would prefer the ugly XC40 over the X1 ? And can they focus a bit more on more practical issues like Fuel Efficiency, Service Costs etc. I have been reading their magazines since i was a 10 yr old kid. The quality of content has certainly drastically changes (and a bit dramatised) if not gone down.
Well i think you are audi fanboy.....because the things they are offering in this price segment are shitty....and also the we didnt expect this kind of dated quality deliverance from such premium company like bmw......hatsoff to underratted volvo for providing such fair and justified things in this price segment
