Definitely needed this! The cool guy at the local Auto Zone pulled up your video for me to use as a reference. Five of the six cylinders were showing misfires on the diagnostic. Thanks so much for this video! Hopefully, I'll have "Pegasus" rollin' smooth again by Monday!

This video helped me a lot. I just bought a Q7 and have 5 out of 6 cylinders misfying don't have dealership money right now. It's definitely help me save a few bucks

If I decide to pressure wash my VW VR6 engine I will clean the area around the spark plug wells by hand with an all purpose cleaner then cover and seal off the area. Kind of surprised the water in the well did not evaporate from the engine heat. Great video, it is worth it to buys the tools and do this your self well done. I hope you used a little anti-seize on those spark plug threads.

Hi, you have 3 tools missing in your demo. torque wrench , gauge for spark plug and special tool to remove the connector plug. First of all you can buy a special tool to remove the connector plug on Amazon as you did with your special tool for the coil, with that it is no problem to remove the connector plug. Second, it is a common procedure to check the plug ignition end with the correct gauge to see if it has bended in the package. And third, you always torque the sparking plugs when installing !!! You can see the correct gauge and torque on the sparking plug packed. Sorry for this correction but it is super important that you torque the spark plugs correct , I think it is 17 inch-pounds for this engine with is basically hand tight ;-) kind regards Sveinbjorn
