Digital rear view mirrors: Having owned a new 55 Launch edition E-Tron SUV (July 2020) fitted with these mirrors I would not recommend them. These were these difficult to adjust on the move. Mine were replaced (5 mirrors fitted in total) as they filled with condensation. They offered poor visibility when it was dark. I loved the car and after 40,000 miles I replaced it with an E-Tron Vorsprung (same wheels as those on the SUV in this video) with conventional mirrors. Next car will likely be a Q8 SUV with mirrors.
Hi, Ive had them on a Vorsprung for 2.5 years and think they are great. The 'condensation' thing puzzles me can I ask where the condensation arose and didn't the heaters fix that? Also, why do you need to adjust them whilst on the move? I love it at night and especially in bad weather. When someone bumped into me and I got a normally mirrored Etron as the loan car, I just couldnt wait to get the virtual mirrors back! As an aside, my car has just had a software upgrade for the heated rear window and virtual mirrors. (I was amazed that the heated rear window could need a software upgrade, but that's a separate issue) and the clarity of the virtual mirror has improved. Strange.
@@donvanvliet9477 Hi Don. Condensation appeared in the first set of mirrors after a modest cold snap (-5). The heaters in these small mirrors were upgraded as part of replacing the first set. Fearful that my hand car wash routine might be a factor, I took to wrapping these mirrors in plastic bags when washing the car, still condensation appeared. The mirrors were a real talking point, with folk asking me if they were aftermarket etc. Each to there own as far as these are concerned, these were the only niggles on an otherwise excellent car.
I don't understand the audi... They can't even deliver 2022 models and they're already releasing new models that we might get in 2025. I've been waiting for my Audi Q4 sportback e-tron for 14 months now. And I still haven't got it.
Plenty of people cancelling their Q4 orders because Audi can't give a straight answer on if/when they can build them. Seems like that car is an 'avoid' right now...! You can get a Skoda Enyaq a bit more reliably. VAG is in a bit of a delivery mess at the minute.
not impressed, more or less hate the logo direction, i want them 3D i don't want flat and i especially hate the grey on black it looks stupid. what is your logo Audi?? chrome or nothing.
two garbage vehicles by audi, useless as shit too especially at longer journeys where you are more time at rechargers and trying to find them and be first on the line then on the road/highway
@@MateenDI not same time of recharge and with the prices of electricity on rechargers they basically costs same as diesel fuel but you will not recharge in minute or 25 seconds like with normal car if we count range for fuel amount !! and be aware for 5-10 years because batteries dies most in that time and new ones costs as half of new car
@@christianolsen9781 go to autobahn and drive as others and we would see where you will be for 45-60minutes and that is case if you have basically 100% full battery.,you will push with hands then if tires /wheels dont block
