JXS 1 umm... yeah it’s only .3 seconds slower stock, but great drivers can get a very low 11 second drag. I’m going to be getting a GTR this year and it amuses me that everyone acts like it’s a big deal it has probably a stage 1 tune my friends GTR clocks in similar times and his is a 2016 GTR. That’s what I’m going to be doing to mine or I might just do a midpipe so the car can have a bit more character. Plus for $80k less who’s really the loser? The car that ways over 1,000lbs and has back seats with a full sized trunk that goes 0-60 in 2.9 seconds or the car that’s a flat out supercar that barely beats it and it’s a two seater with minimal trunk space. Plus one wins in reliability. Lmfao, but don’t think I’m trashing the R8 because after my GTR I’ll be going for a Huracan or an R8 V10+ because I still want a supercar (only reason I’m watching this video), but I can’t justify the purchase right now since with my GTR I’ll be getting a Tesla model 3 and I think that’s more than enough for me at 19. Both cars are phenomenal obviously the Audi R8 is better, but to make it seem like the GTR has no chance is just ridiculous. For practicality and daily drivability the GTR wins and those two matter for me plus with it being more of a low key car (low key meaning really only car people know GTR’s other people don’t really care meanwhile with an R8 everyone is going to be staring). I’m waiting to get either a Huracan or a V10 plus because I want to also have a Porsche Taycan. I’d rather have a great combination than to rush and get the cars I want. There’s a reason the GTR has so much hype it’s a perfect car. And it’s plows through snow (I live in Michigan). Anyways we all have our own opinions, but coming from someone who’s experience with both cars (my girlfriends next door neighbor owns an R8 V10+ and a Hellcat widebodg Redeye white and black) I can with ease tell you the GTR is a better value, but the R8 is going to be more fun. It just comes down to what fits your check list for me the GTR passes, which is why I’m excited to get one! Mine will most likely be blacked out though or white with black rims as my friends GTR is white with black rims as well (seems like a trendy color combo, but it works so damn well so I’m not surprised) and it looks beautiful during the day!
