The way audi's are marketed is you have a peak model for every design. The R8 is basically a pure sports car in that it has an aggressive stance, body, chassis, and engine placement. S7 engine is very powerful but it's not meant to be used as sports car. Straight line racing is very basic and makes car only comparable in speed rather than handling and actual performance.
