Good video man! Looks rapid😎 spot on about some tuners taking safety features off ive seen people disable knock sensors just for a slight gain, longevity over power any day

That looks seriously quick bay and sounds fantastic, what a difference. I got my RS remapped yesterday it feels amazing . It was dyno’d at 366 whp not sure what that is in bhp but I’m happy

Interesting you saying about his dyno not liking the rs3 8p. I recently took my car to a tuning company with my s3 8p and the dyno was a 4wheel drive dyno and maybe a year old and my car wasn’t liking that dyno to much. I was told by the guys tuning the car some sensors were kicking in while on the dyno and they had seen another s3 8p on another older dyno that they had at another location make 40bhp more than what my car was making. So they decided to road map it. When I jumped in the car it definitely wasn’t the bhp/torque the dyno was reading it felt like it was 30-40bhp more. So when the guy that tuned your car said it’s probably 410bhp his probably most certainly right.

This is really interesting and reassuring to hear mate, it’s also not the first time I’ve heard this. Strange how the RS3 8P can perform so differently on different conditions! I’m definitely interested to see what numbers mine is actually pulling! I’ll try and see what other dynos are near by that seem to like the 8P. Really appreciate this comment mate thank you. 😎

Nice. Have a stage 3 RS3 8P in Devon. Currently 516bhp. MIght have to take to Joel to see what its dyno'ing to have a benchmark on other dynos.

Both very good choices mate 😉 The RS3 will be more forgiving in real world driving conditions with the AWD. And more capable with tuning (unless you’ve got the cash to supercharge the M3). The M3 will turn more heads! Yet the RS3 still does that very well too 😎🔥

hey dude,i have a RS3 8p stock.. too scared to have it mapped to stage 1.. are there any dangers to the engine at all? id cry if i was to damage it in any way! would really appreciate a reply! :)

How’s it going! There can certainly be danger to the engine if tuned incorrectly. Things like knock sensors and other safety features can be dulled and removed by the tuner to achieve more power for the sake of bigger gains, this is never good. You want to find a reputable tuner who really knows what they’re doing, someone who will be leaving the safety features in place. You can find that remapping the car in some cases is better for the car over stock. Essentially “unlocking” the cars true potential, as they’re essentially de-tuned from factory! I hope this helps 👌🏼

Hi I’m getting my rs3 8p tomorrow. I’m curious to know if I get a res delete will it have burbles when I downshift. Or what you advice me to do to make it sound better ??? Pls help

I recommend secondary decats for the extra noise mate, you won’t hear any more burbles from a res delete, however DSG farts will be louder!

I need to take the wheel and spacer off, wire brush the corrosion from the hub and see if that sorts it mate, if not may be a buckle. Time for some 8V wheels 🤣👌🏼

@@beargrillz613 wheel balancing mate, each wheel required the weights being perfect, I then had no wobble at all. However the wobble will always come back, just how it goes with the 8p....
