Just watched your video again. Update on my purchase is... I'm not disappointed at all. The thing is a rocket 🚀! I used to have a B5, but this new V8 is fantastic. I hear what you're saying with the blue, but with this one I searched for the full black and carbon packs. The plan was to go full Bat mobile with it esthetically. Performance-wise. Remap and super non resonated Milltek exhaust being fitted mid October down at Regal Autosport in Southampton. It's going to be LOUD!
Does the RS4 B8 drive any different to the RS5 B8? I know they're the same platform but did Audi tweek anything like the steering electronics between the two??
Great car, I had one of the last ones new in 2015 for a couple of years - but as you observe at 3:26 you need the revs up to get the best out of that V8. Awesome noise, always got loads of positive attention when I was driving it. Great review, brings back happy memories....get in those tunnels!! Those 'blips' at 5:55 occasionally give you a little bit of flame out of the tail pipes.
Thanks mate, really appreciate that! Yeah its a lovely car, shame they don't make them with V8 engines anymore. The noise is irreplaceable in my opinion and if it has capability to throw out the odd tailpipe flame then you can't complain haha
Just bought one of these beast, 2014 in the same colour. You're right it does stand out. The Sports suspensions is the Dynamic Chassis Control (DSC) which is just adaptive dampers, stiffens the dampers up depending on the setting you choose and makes the steering stiffer. I'm sure this quattro system split the power 40/60 front/rear, i dont think it has torque vectoring.
Been looking into purchasing a B7 recently but seen that the price on the B8 is coming down so checked out this video... i'm torn on which one i would like to get aha
@Michael mcc Yeah pretty much the same for me, the b7 interior is what kind of puts me off (stereo and dash etc) thinking about the b8 as its newer and just has more of the wow factor when you are sat inside it

My dad has an eye on this same one but in red, personally i love the v8 engine and the downshift is so satisfying hopefully this vid would convince him to buy one, great video mate 🙏

Thanks mate, yeah they don't make them like this anymore unfortunately. If I had the money i'd buy a B7 RS4 and just keep it in storage for the odd blast every now and then haha
I’ve just bought one. Had it for 2 months now! In love with it! If you are thinking of getting one, and worried if it will cost you a lot to maintain. Don’t bother getting one, as the guy said, apart from the car being a pisshead. Everything is RS billed 😂. Even tyres. 1 goes, have to get both done, and that cost me £685 for 2 . But I love it and know what I’ve got myself into 🫡
