This is the 40th RU-vid video I've seen on the the RS6. You can't help falling in love with this car. It seems that everyone agrees that it is such a fine car in terms of satisfying even the most demanding drivers. I find this video is also very good and informative. Thomas doesn't rush you into loads of info in one go, rather he introduces you to the car in a relaxed manner covering all the necessary details as it should. The video is very well proportioned and balanced: specs, city ride and autobahn. PS I calculated the acceleration from 100 KM to 200 KM and I think it took around 9.39 seconds Thanks

I think Audi has perfected the twin turbo V8 exhaust note. Sounds better than the AMG products (C63/E63/S63/etc).

+loo lolo There's a difference between racing and beating everyone at the traffic light. With modern cars accelerating hard at a light is not that dangerous. Also speed doesn't kill otherwise there would be way more deadly accidents on the Autobahn. The most dangerous people there are people that drive slowly and don't look at what's coming from behind before overtaking a truck.

33:34 didn't actually select dynamic.. forgot to click the jog wheel. you can see it reverts back to the comfort setting, and continued to talk about the handling and performace as if in dynamic. shame : /

Hello Thomas, I just wanted to say that your reviews are by far the best and most complete ones on RU-vid, everything is just spot on! Its because of the Lights shape and Grill underneath . A6 has similair Look .. only different Bumper and not the Wide Fenders . But also without the wide Fenders it would be perfect for all the Viewers / Customers.

Annoying to see how you hold up traffic in the left lane sometimes when talking and not concentrating on driving. Then you don't have to feel like you're being bullied (which was not the case). Suggest doing the talking in the right lane. Not a bad review, though.

I agree about the safety and reassurance you have with a faster car, you can do things you need to do with confidence. Sure it adds the risk of crashing, but you need to learn how to control the power. Hoping to get one these cars later this year, fingers crossed :D

As I've said before - fantastic review - Many Thanks Thomas. Again. For car enthusiasts, we see 100 percent more detail on here, than if we went into our local show room to inspect one (probably wouldn't find one in the showroom, & the salesperson wouldn't let me near it, if there was one!). I'd never drive one. So much more detail here, than a magazine article. Well done. On the Driving Impressions, we love the camera angle of the dashboard, instruments and road ahead (you set up the camera so well, with an image in the door mirror, and of the Side Assist, and of most of the instruments. It's also interesting to see you demonstrate the Adaptive Cruise too) - more of that camera angle if possible - it's great! Many thanks.The RS6 Performance? Nice car! Cars? I love all cars!

If you need to go from normal mode to dynamic mode you do not need to play with the swivel whilst you are driving. Just flip the gear shift back once and it will get you straight into dynamic mode.

This car is laterally my favorite car in the whole world. I love this car so much I love everything about it. the look of the car is so quite and discrete but could beat any other car on the road, to me it is just pure awesomeness. if I were to choose one car to use every day forever right now this is the car for me. its the best of both worlds in terms of practicality, sound and speed. I would have like the car to have 5 seats though hopefully its an option.Hopefully the new models will be even better, can't wait to be able to afford this car, which I will.

yeah and i really can´t follow up until now why they come up to such a decision. In a press-conference they gave the reason that a luxury car brand does not need a wagon which is totally non-sense!

The Audi/VW/Skoda safety of the rear hatch is non-existent! That would really hurt an animal or a small child. Also, this color combination would be popular at my college (UGA). RS6 is an absolute rocket. Looking forward to the R8 model with the V6 option and the next gen A8 as well.

I share your point of view concerning the retractable entertainment screen, it's elegant and practical. Nowadays, they seem to put the screens "on top of the dashboard" and I always feel the vision is somehow impaired by that choice. One thing is sure, I think you should have them in your vision rather than lower, underneath the ventilation nozzles for exmaple, because this force your eyes to leave the road and it's not safe. But the best would be to have tactile or holographic parts directly on the windshields, opareted by gestures (like VW allows with certain entertainment systems).

100 to 200 was approximately 7.5-8 seconds on your video counter. I would say that makes sense as the speed increases the wind resistance is exponentially increasing. This makes the 0-100 around 4.3 seconds. Holy crow!! I could just hear my kids...WEEEEEEEEEEEE faster daddy!!! My kids would absolutely love this upgrade from my A4 avant. 330 more hp. Not bad. Do you see the petrol gauge moving when you hammer the accelerator? ;)

Very impressive car! In a bit less suspicious color and with a bit more decent wheels nobody will be any the wiser and you'd be cruising around anonymously with 600+ hp. Seems like a wonderful experience to drive around with a car that accelerates so effortlessly. And it sounds really great too. Plus you will quickly get a new friend: the guy from the gas station! :-)

I personally am not a huge fan of the huge Quattro wording on the grill. I'm not sure if it is a free option but I remember someone saying it was free on the RS7. I think there's a pretty good reason why it's a free option
