Really?? Ive always loved R & RS Audis but this looks like a hot wheels toy. It’s a cool car for like an 18 year old who’s really into fast and furious . Anybody taking these things to the track or is this just for straight line professional RU-vid drag racers/burnout specialists lol ????
@@christian_urocar not built for the track, built for a simple tune, run a low 10 second quarter mile on the sunday, while taking the family shopping and school run on the monday. Best of both worlds. They were never built for a track, gt3rs they are not bad little cars on a track, but again, cant take the family shopping and school run in it. So both have their pro's and con's.
Funny, the C7 factory manual calls it Launch Control and explains quite clearly how to do it. Safety measures are included, keep steering straight or it won’t engage, if you don’t let go of brakes within 5 seconds it disengages. Sounds like launch control to me and it works.
@@jrncarphotography6158 brake boost it is my friend, i have an rs7, its a zf8 gearbox they dont have launch control, s6/s7's have launch control (dl501 gearbox) rs6/7's dont
I have an RS6 and it definitely has launch control. Be in RS1 or RS2 mode, apply brake, and then hold throttle all the way down. After a few seconds the virtual cockpit will say “launch mode activated”. Release brake and you’re gone.
