In 2006 Audi launched the second generation of the hot hatchback S3, which was available at first in 3-doors configuration only.
The engine is a 2.0l TFSI turbo 4-cylinder, which produces a good amount of power: 265 hp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and "Quattro" awd system.
Thanks to the incredible traction off the line, the S3 goes from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.7 seconds. The grip through corners is incredible and the car is generally very easy to drive fast.
Top speed is limited to 250 km/h.
