Finally, the return is upon us and I couldn't be happier with the result. Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger... This car is a dream come true for me as I have always wanted a fully built engine. I have so many plans and goals for this car, I want to take it all the way, sky is the limit. I will get there someday, but for now it is such a warm feeling bringing this car back to life and hearing it roar! I just had to share! More footage coming soon, thanks for being patient, this took everything I had and more to pull this all together and make it all happen this year. It just goes to show that hard work pays off as long as you never give up. So don't ever give up on your dreams, life is too short for regret. Can't wait to post more of this dream machine, catch you guys on the flip side!

I'm not usually a fan of black wheels, but I think the wheel color change to black was a good move here. Feels more in line with the attitude of the car. Congrats on the progress, definitely looking forward to seeing this 25 year old beast back out there hurtin some feelings!

So awesone! Love it! Car sounds sick af! If you can, do a short clip in some of your video, of the shifter. It looks super cool, but also seems to be a bit too stiff?

I plan on doing a video going over the shifter setup in the future. Pros and Cons, impressions, comparing the throw to a stock shifter, you know that kinda stuff. The transmission has all carbon synchros now so it certainly has more of a direct feel when engaging gears. I let my best friend here drive the car that day and he was absolutely in love with how the car shifted and I'm pretty sure you would be to friend ;)

How much did the engine repair cost?

Got a quick question, im looking at a fairly clean 93 RS4 manual and it has 335K miles. Timing belt done to it 35K miles ago, MTM stage 1 tune, mantis stage 1 clutch 25k ago some S6 suspension parts upgrades, interior stock. Here is the problem though, cyl 4 and 5 having some ignition coil issues. Compression tested all cylinders and leak down was good, but he suspects wiring issue. Is 4k usd too much? I really want it but i already have a lot of project vehicles LOL, but I've always loved the 5cyl

Sorry for the late response, I have been extremely busy with life as of late. I think that car needs a thorough diag obviously. The ignition coil circuit is separate from the main harness so it should be easy to confirm if the issue is in the ignition harness or the main harness. If you already have a lot of projects I would probably just say skip this one, mainly because I think the 5 cylinders are a very special breed and I feel it should be all or nothing when going into a car of such vibrant character. But take these words with a grain of salt, I am just an enthusiast like the rest of you and I will always say AAN is #1! Thanks for watching friend and good luck on your journey!

How did you get the coolerworxs shifter to work? I have one for the c4, have a b5S4 shift linkage and I only have 1-4, no 5th or reverse.

I had a similar issue at first, I figured out that the b5 linkage will rub on the tunnel of my C4 when going in reverse. This prevents it from even going over to the gate. I ended up pulling the entire engine/trans assembly back out so I could get in there and "massage" the tunnel to make clearance for the linkage. I will be sure to include this info when I do a video on the shifter setup. Your best bet is to crawl under the car and watch the shifter linkage while you have someone in the car going through gears. This will surely help diagnose your issue as it was very helpful solving mine. Good luck and thanks for watching!
