These are nice cars. All the comments about it being slow and not sounding like what’s V8 should do not understand this car. I had one of these for 10 years. Totally regret selling it. The sound was pure and at the same time it fits a family. I then bought a Porsche Macan Turbo. Yeah the Porsche is faster than the Audi but not as exciting. Sound, dynamics completely different. Nothing like a German V8 Audi, especially the old S and RS cars.
Many people forget that a naturally aspirated engine like this without any turbos is way more robust and holds up longer. I have an A4 B7 2.0 TFSI which is chiptuned to 270HP / 410NM and it holds up pretty well in comparison to a stock S4 B7. I have also measured the time for 0-100km/h and I came out with a whopping 5.5 seconds (tried a lot of times over couple of months, I was in the area of above 6 seconds mostly, but I had some perfect manual shifts at my record). Of course there were things as weight reduction, no replacement tire in the back, everything that adds to the weight was removed from the car for those tests. GPS test was used.
@@Waldmensch_ nice.. My a8 d2 4.2 avg is 20 l/100 +/- in the city. If i drive more Dynamically 28/100 is easy.. Outside the city 14/100, without highways. If this real, maybe i must change car..
@@rls2475 about 70-100m above sea level. My stock S4 used to do 60 in about 5.5 and 1/4 mile in 14s, seen plenty other S4s doing same numbers, if you look up online it says 5.2-5.5s
@BMW F25 X3 R Spec The S4 has 344hp and if you want something to compare the M3 with there is the RS4 with 420hp. And also i don't understand how 0-100km/h in 5.5 sec is "slow" by any standard. Maybe if you're used to hypercars lol.
@BMW F25 X3 R Spec buddy you gotta remember that this is a car that came out in 02 and could still achieve a 0-60 in under 5 seconds with 4 doors and your beloved e92 came out much later and would still get beat by an rs4 that is much older
