Execelent review and great grey color. The seat's form is so so nice looking (not talking about the materialns or comfort neither for the not so pleasing red color but for their form looking so sharp and just perfect)

Great video. 60K for this SQ2 is far too much. Audi taking the mickey. Would prefer a full-spec Q3 Sportback for less. Wait, no, would prefer a full-spec Tiguan SWB for less still, and it's better equipped!

If you take a look at our driving parts of the reviews, you see that we of course have clip-on microphones. I like the car but it is quite pricey, I don't know that it's worth it in the end. Maybe buying it used with like 30k km. But wasn't this launched like 2 years ago? Is this a refresh?

I do like this model of Audi. It’s more adventurous styling wise which is refreshing as I find many Audi models look the same. Especially like the exterior side styling. Not a fan of those horrid coloured vents, they look cheap and aftermarket. Otherwise I’d buy it.

I agree the off road look is a necessity on a vehicle like this. Body colour trim makes it too chunky

The biggest obstacle that car would tackle is a curb so let it be as chunky as it wants. The missing black plastic around the wheel openings is missing because without them it appeals to woman and snobs.

Thomas to answer your question - you are lucky not to need Lumbar Adjustment, I get lower back pain in almost every car which doesn’t have it. The only exception I found were the wonderful Recaro seats fitted to the ‘80s Hot Hatches of my youth - Astra GTE (Kadett GSI mk1) and Escort RS1600i. Whatever happened to Recaro seats as standard!?

Hi Thomas, I was hoping you could make a review of the Dacia Duster 4x4 with the new 1.3 turbo petrol engine with either 130ps or 150ps. I love watching your reviews as I'm 188cm and seating position and comfort is critical for me. Since you are 186cm (or 6'1 ;)) it's great reference to see if any car you review is good for me. Any ideas if a hybrid is coming for the Dacia range? Greetings from Finland.

What's your take on the SQ2 vs its stable make twin the VW T-Roc R, in terms of design, interior, equipment and price vs the Audi? Love to see a review of that.

I really like this car but when I see these acceleration tests all I can think of is the Godzilla and your reaction..... everything else is lame. Thanks for the great review old Thomas. The cheap plastic inserts at the inside of the doors are disgusting in a car at this pricetag. It's an Audi. Not a Seat, Skoda or Volkswagen.

Thomas, no offense but I genuinely don't understand your obsession about super soft touch materials on the interior doors ! I mean, the import thing is that there is no scratchy, hollow sounding hard plastic surface, right ? The Q2 ( and other cars ) have definitely nice soft touch surfaces on the top part of the door, just not super thick foamed up one's. Why is it so important for this part to be as much soft touch as the dashboard, where you can poke 1cm into it ? I think you over exaggerate there a bit since the main concern should be how it generally looks and feels, no ? And it sure feels high class and premium to me, even if you can poke into it just a bit. But is this really the benchmark for quality ?

great review as always, poor colour (primer grey), way overpriced for what it is, and no adaptive suspension is crazy -- come on Audi, most other manufactures allow you to put the seats down from the boot/truck, for the SQ2 money, they could be controlled up and down!

These small fake suv's are neither good suv's or sporty. People should be offended that these car brands are marketing cheap shit boxes as luxury. Just work hard and buy a regular size luxury vehicle. Buying a cheap luxury car is pathetic. Is it not better to drive the top of the line non-luxury vehicle, save money, than spend much to much on a low level luxury car that has less equipment ? They make these vehicles because they want to steal your money by tricking you into buying a crap car with a luxury badge on it.

What I think you're saying at the end there is: People buy a poverty spec Audi Q3 rather than a less costly full-option Tiguan with everything on it. Strange. But that's the market and the way it goes! People like 'perceived' more expensive cars, for the image in the neighbourhood. Audis are more expensive VW's often with less stuff. Seat and Skoda are less expensive VW's with less stuff! VW Group think they have it covered - customers that are richer still, can buy a Macan/Cayenne, or anything upwards... The rich (most of them!) want an expensive car!
