AUDI URS6 (ep5): Porsche brakes (finally!) fitted!

After many hours of making and fitting new brake lines, the Cayenne calipers are finally in place with a beautiful (and thankfully temporary) pair of eBay special 18" Lemans alloys in situ!
Final wheel choice is still to be decided, but it will have to be (or at least most likely) be an 18" of some description to clear the calipers.
As always, a massive thanks to James @ #cribbsspeedshop for his skills, patience and good humour, each when he really didn't want to be spending an entire day on this car 😅🫣

Martyn, Consider Audi S8 Mk 1 rims. There is a cover that goes on the top of the airbox to dress it. It breaks easily when removing it so they are always missing, but have a look at an original Audi press shot of the engine bay to see one. It finishes the airbox beautifully and is worth searching for. Audi may still have a few in stock. Replace all of the rusty screws and bolts under the front of the engine bay, and replace the snapped plastic cover for the injectors. They're always broken because people lean on the middle of the the cover when the metal parts of the engine are too hot for them to touch. Very nice example of the model. Well wear. You'll be hard pressed to find another as good as this at this stage.
