I switched to the audiobooks app same price and get 3 credits a month... no freebies but they have all the new books, and catalog matches audible's...I've enjoyed it the last few months
So what exactly is included with audible plus? I’m trying to figure out if they have some of the audible originals and exclusive if some of those are included in that cheaper plan or not. I couldn’t exactly find my answer on their website and I contacted customer service and they were no help. And then I tried RU-vid to see if anyone did a video but no one did a video explaining what comes with that plan.
I mean I think it’s no different that digital plant is kind of similar to Scribd which only reason I have that service is because it’s cheaper and not all the authors I like to listen to but a good chunk of them are on Scribd. And there are some audible originals that I wanna listen to but I can’t justify the $14.94 or whatever it is each month. Like I like Scribd that it’s unlimited there’s no credit and then of course audible does have some comic books in audio form I found out like Riverdale comic books for example. If I could afford it I would just do the regular one and pay the $14 a month but I can’t justify that and they do have a plan where you can pay a few dollars more it’s like 17 or something and pay it every other month so you get one credit every other month but that’s not a deal in my head. I mean yes I would be getting I’d be paying every other month so give me time to save up and afford the plan but it’s not like it’s $14 and 94 or five cents every other month it’s a few dollars more but you’re just paying it every other month meaning you’re only getting credit every other month which is an ideal in my head.
And yeah it’s not a service I honestly am sure I’d wanna pay for but right now they would give me three months of it for free so I’d be down to at least try it out for three months. But it wouldn’t let me get that service because I’m not home I’m on a break at work and so I can’t seem to get it to work on my phone so I’m gonna have to go home and try signing up for the three months trial on my computer and see if it will let me I think it’s just my phones being stupid right now. So since they’ll give me three months for free of audible plus I would love to see anything on there I would actually listen to but I just wanted to know if there would be some audible exclusives or originals if any of those even some of them would be included it just kind of sucks when their customer service which I did the chat feature of couldn’t answer that question for me.
Call me maybe is such fun & feelgood time..great pick me up book... I loved Next year in Havana it has some romance it it too.. Sherry Thomas writing is amazing I love this series it is such interesting twist on Holmes and I liked the heroine she seems to be on the spectrum too..overall I recommend it.. hope you enjoy it!! great list!! 💜
In terms of Romance, I feel like I'm going to try to read all the Penny Reid and Corinne Michaels they have then cancel it. I'm sure there are some great books in it, but so many are authors I've never even heard of or authors I've tried and just find so-so. Several from your list are on my list as well like Rin Chupeco, also spotted Grady Hendrix's backlist for horror fans. Mainly, I'm just resolved to give Scribd my money and make better use of my library's audio services.
🎧 I’ll be canceling mine as well. I currently have it paused because I have some credits I need to use before I cancel. There’s nothing worth reading/listening to on there anymore,
It's really disappointing the lack of selection. I have mine still cause same thing I have some credits I have to use up, but when those are gone I'm done.
@@HappyforNow I'm actually going to film a video about it because I stopped buying books on Amazon a while ago and kept Audible and then Booktube basically educated me on how Amazon/Audible has an icky monopoly model at times and I was like "...mmm, better not"
