So. I subscribed to audible kinda spontaneously, without knowing what to listen to. And somehow I found call me maybe. And I have to say. The only reason I started listening to it was because it was relatively short. And from the first 5 minutes of this audiobook I was hooked. I've already listened to the first 2 books and they both are probably the best romance books in a loooong period of time. And now I'm seriously addicted to audible plus little remance stories. The performances are so good. It's literally like watching a movie (but without watching). Thank you for recommendations. I added all of them to the library
I am not a romance reader but one I really liked last year was Payback's A Witch. I generally can tolerate holiday romances well, but I also wanna try some more historical romances soon.
I loooove How to Date Your Dragon! I covered it last year on my podcast. It inspired a friend's steamy romance 2018 dive. It was so much fun to end Dragon Month last year. It's so fun! Molly Harper has a great sense of comedic timing. So a paranormal, small town romance with a high rom com element.
I've just discovered light romance audiobooks (they are great for listening while running errands). Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely check it out
Several of these are on my Audible TBR and have been for a while. 🤦🏾♀️ I finally put my unused subscription to sleep/on suspension. I've listend to The Perfect Play; I remember bits and pieces but not how it ended. The Stand-In was very cute and made me feel the feels! Christina C. Jones and Alexandria House are my go-to authors for romance audiobooks. Their works are not Rom-Coms but both authors are great with the banter and humor. Most recently I listened to Alexandria House’s Romey University series (two of the three, so far) and was happy for the experience. I hope you make it through your TBR and enjoy! Do share you opinions. It might inspire someone…me.😆
