AUDIBLE VOCALIZATIONS Made Us Leave In A Hurry 

What I do, is rake dead leaves underneath my bedroom windows, that way, if anything walks up too close, I can hear them. And I DO hear them. I hung some wind chimes out a couple weeks ago, and now it seems like after midnight, even when the wind isnt blowing, something has gotten into the habit of ringing them when they're around. Between that and the leaves, it's pretty obvious I have company. Scary times for sure! Yall be safe and keep making videos!

Possibly at 5:56 - 5:57, to your left and behind you, there's a black figure that darts from behind a tree clump and then is out in the open for a second - like it waited for you to pass then stood out in the open. If I'm wrong and it's just a dark bush, I'm sorry. Child, baby, women's cries are meant to lure you out of the security of your van. Glad you didn't investigate.

My ex taught me this: there's always someone around. No matter how far out you are. Once he hiked way miles from even any roads, out at bottom of canyon. And he was sitting there all alone enjoying a desolate spot and out of nowhere a homeless guy walked past his camp!!! He ended up talking to the guy and the guy said he lived out there in the forest in a tent

I heard that howling and I don't blame you guys for leaving. That was disconcerting. Maybe if you do decide to go back bring some friends in 2 other vehicles to have back up. Safety in numbers. I'm actually curious to see resolution in this matter. Please don't leave us hanging!

I was shaken to my core once in January, 2008 in rural Tennessee by eye shine and a friends dog who went into severe shock from extreme fear of whatever was watching us. I lived in the Ozarks coupe years ago. I stayed in a trailer and can hear most things at night through thin walls. One night I got up between 3 am to about 4:30 am I slept in the living room and the one bed room at the other end was next to the bathroom I used. I got up and walked down the hall to the bathroom. I stopped at the back door and heard a deep gurgling sound deep and very hard, through the back door. I turned towards the bathroom and said "Jesus I'll pretend I did not hear that" so i went to to relieve myself then went back to bed. I never heard it after that.

GOD instilled fight or flight instinct for a reason. If you don't feel safe there is no good reason to stay. Some game wardens won't tell what they know. Maybe ask some folks that live in that area, do some research. There are things out there we don't know about, makes one wonder if that's how so many dissappear without a trace, never to be seen again. Psalms 91, especially verse 11, read it, pray it. We live in northern Michigan and have heard howls and vocalizations that we can't explain. Also, tree knocks. I love your video's. So glad you are ready to protect yourselves.

I had an encounter in Missouri in the Mark Twain National Forrest in 2000 I saw it from a distance and smelled it before I saw it, I am a believer and those are the same howls I heard back then and a few Tree Knocks as well it still raises the hair on my neck when I think about it I am saying they have most likely claimed that area as their territory and most likely there is more than one..nice video and you were right for leaving

I watch alot of van life style channels... seems like when people park too far out... into 'the deep wild' or where humans rarely go... they always hear sounds or see things in the distance. So glad you have something for personal defense.

Your in a van lock the doors get in back anything comes in you have the right to defend yourself...im sure your both carrying..and im sure its more then a little 22.pistol you dump a whole clip of hollows on anything thats able to come in a van i dont think its gonna be a threat anymore..not saying anything wrong with a 22.just my opinion. I feel safer carrying something with a lil more stopping power.

Just watching your video I don't find that area that creepy, however I believe if you're somewhere and feel uneasy and there are unexplained noises, then I can imagine you would be freaked out. There's an area in Nsw Australia called the Pilliga State forest. We have to drive through there on our way down south from Queensland to Victoria. I am always relieved to get to the next town, as the bush on both sides is thick and foreboding (to me), and there is always the risk of kangaroos. Also, we've heard many creepy stories about the place.

Yo holy fuck I know im a year late but you can deff see something walk into frame as early as 5:53 all the way to the right of the screen. Using the tree as a reference point you can clearly see that its moving. It moves behind the tree, then is lurking to the left of it around 5:57 and freezes. At 5:59 the camera cuts to a close up and the figure comes back into frame right next the guy on the left of the screen just standing there. This alone would look like nothing, but the fact that you can track it from seconds prior is FUCKED.

All these stories really make me look at wildlife differently. You never know what's out there. I think you guys are in danger when you are hearing howls, cries etc. Don't go back there . Today I took a hike in a local park , it was very windy and I kept hearing moaning crying like sound in a woods, got creeped out for a min then realized it was the trees making that awful noise. If I heard that in a dark without knowing what it was, i would have thought I'm hearing demons . It was so eerie and loud. Nature can be creepy on top of all the things that hides in it.

With as much evil as there is in this world these days, then you add on the possibility of animals or maybe a creature pestering you both.....your braver than I am and I live way out in the country my self and not scared of much other than snakes. Gary Reed from unfrequented world channel made a parabolic mic out of a garbage can lid. If you check out his channel you can see how he did it if you would like to try it yourself. Didn't cost anywhere near what it would to buy one. Sasquatch are very well known at creating sounds imitating children crying or children laughing or women screaming etc to get you to go into the woods. I would never follow that sound into the woods, it is a trap for sure. If you're ever somewhere where you feel creeped out that is a sign to get out of there. Doing that was definitely the right thing.

Am pleased you're sleeping in the van and not in a tent. I'd be so uncomfortable in a tent. I'd have to be in the car/ van and keep the lights to a minimum, just record and watch videos on my phone. U be fine in the van - just keep the lights low or off and chill out for the rest of the night.

I used to camp in Cades Cove, Tn back in the '90s. At that time there was a group of people that was trying to re-introduce the red wolves back into the Cove. The pens the wolves were in were located right behind the Ranger's cabins. The cabins were adjacent to the campground but you couldn't see the wolves, we were told that's where they were kept, to keep them away from the public before they were released. These wolves made the most god-awful sounds at night. It was very unnerving!! It sounded just like women and children being tortured, screams you wouldn't believe! It was hard to sleep and I knew what it was. It was horrendous that first night we were there before we found out what it was. So animals can make some terrible sounds, and I am sure it is very unnerving to be alone in the woods and hear such things and not know what it is.

When in doubt leave. Your gut is telling you it's not safe.

At 10:24 i could hear a howl, but at 5:56 i couldn't see anything. My advice is get a infrared trail camera and then park your vehicle inside the beam. What ever is out there will avoid the beam. of course this is theory 🤗.

It took a fairly long time as far as catching evps go before I could hear the first one in your video. At 4:42-4:45 a guy says "Run child run child come here I brought it!" 5:42 guy says "That's a pretty BIRD!" 6:17 lady says "So far so good." 6:28-6:29 guy says "I can do that." There's another voice or 2 but I can't make them out well enough. The howl at 11:00 is kinda strange sounding for a howl. If you heard a child make the sound you heard during a different visit it was probably residual. If you ever go back, I'd leave your audio recorder on and leave for a while. Then you can listen for the evps in it. You're bound to hear some. I don't invest in anything other than my phone for picking up evps/apparitiations along with good headphones and speakers for when listening back. All the gizmos out there are worthless really and never allow you to pick up residual evps.

I too have heard unidentified calls and animal calls in the woods. It's possible that it's a female fox.

I’m not even kidding me, my 2 brothers, and 3 sisters live quite close to there, maybe not but it looks exactly where I live near. One time me and my siblings heard a weird yelp whilst playing soccer in the backyard and there patches and patches of land and wooded areas behind where my house is. Me my brother and my sister went to go check it out because there is a small pathway behind my house to the wooded area where I could’ve SWORN you were walking near when you came outta there can, I’m terrified about this video knowing that my house is near something like this or even IS THIS. And also I do hear trains because there are train tracks near my neighborhood. But yeah just please be careful when exploring these places because I do tend to hear animals yelping in the distance out late at night, Thanks for the good video.
