Is the marantz a good combination with the signature e 702? I have the marantz and think to go for the 702. In Belgium they are now on sale for 3400€. Groeten Wannes

The Maranz 40n is an amplifier that we assure you can drive the B&W 702 Signature without any problem, despite being floor standing columns with 3 woofers, which can normally be difficult to handle. However, the quality of these columns is worth going up to higher amplifier options and they will be able to squeeze their possibilities even more.

@@studio22 Thanks for the reply! I'm have order the 705 signature, this was a little better combination for my room I think. It's just 4m deep and with a good rel sub the 705 signature was a great audition. Groeten Wannes

The Marantz Model 40n is an amplifier that has pleasantly surprised us at its price due to its build quality and sound quality. Furthermore, as you may know, B&W and Marantz currently belong to the same business group and the latest generation of models from both are designed to work excellently together, so you are assured of full compatibility. In this case, after our tests, it has no problem powering the B&W 702 Signature and handling without problem the low impedance due to its three woofers in parallel.
