Audience reaction during the Harry Potter Marathon in Paris in Le Grand Rex cinema. This scene is from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and features the heartwarming end of the movie Film copyrights: Warner Bros
same. after my friend and i first read the deathly hallows we were like “there is still a movie so it’s gonna be ok.” but after the movie, we sat down on a bench and cried into each other’s shoulders, thinking about how our whole childhood was over.
i watched the first movie when i was 6 years old in 1999, by 2011 when deathly hallows part 2 was released, i was 18, in the UK that's the age you are classed as an adult
I just realized hermoine was laughing at the frog because that’s how she met Harry and Ron in the first place. Holy shit this is the perfect conclusion to a series
Hearing that final theme at the end, knowing that this was it: the end of a long, long journey. It was the best moment I have ever had, in my entire life.
Almost 30 year old here and yup this had me crying like a baby. End of an era, i saw every film in the cinema from age 7 until 17. The Harry Potter franchise helped me through a really rough childhood and i cant explain enough how much these films mean to me!
The last scene of older Harry, Hermione and Ron looking the train go makes me emotional every time I watch it, It's like in my mind this the last Harry Potter scene ever!
I cried so much, thinking that there will be no Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Voldemort, Draco, Sirius, Lupin, Hagrid, and specially Severus Snape anymore
yeah... i loved the timing of the music as it reminded me of the first chapter of harry potter which introduced this marvellous series. the music reminds us all that theres a new beginning that is to be explored by the new generation. black magic, chamber of secrets, friendships, hardships all awaiting to be discovered which we all experienced as a whole from harry potter 1 through 7
John Baeck i myself seen one of these films in my child hood and was die hard fan of the charcters and story of the movie.. ... But didnt watched complete series... Nowadays i have got complete series of harry potter and saw 5 episodes while two remaining but my curiosity and affection towards this film is the same as it was in my child hood... I wish i could go to see the places and the sceneary where the film is shooted..... Love the company of thrre friends very much...
I’m not even joking, I just started sobbing watching this. And idk why, I’m a huge Harry Potter fan and I’ve seen this film so many times but this video had me sobbing
Stfu, one book/film franchise shouldn’t make you want to be born at any different time than you were. All of the kids who will be born later than me will be able to experience these great pieces of cinema/literature, as well as all the new great works to come, don’t be simple minded enough to let your era of time be represented by a frickin film
No one literally no one The audience - When they see albus potter - Wooooooooo When they see Harry Potter - Woooooooo When they see lily potter- Wooooooooooo When they see draco and his family - Wooooooooooooo When they see harmoine and rons kid - Wooooooooooooooo When the train leaves the station- Woooooooooooo When the screen gets black - Woooowowowoooooooooooooooo
Is this an American thing because this absolutely never happens in Australia it is complete and utter silence the whole movie like if you did this you’d be kicked out ahahaha
@@amydicristoforo1414Well, it's the end of an era. The end of one of the most well known series of books/films with a very large passionate fanbase. So... it's bound to happen. Im from the Netherlands and i remember the entire audience reaction the same way.
@@lostastronaut8291 Rowling has put efforts, there are few moments when you are like OMG WTF!!! Comparing to the other books this is awful, i'd give 6/10(I gave 10 for all the other books)
Oh god, the movies ended 11 years ago. Between the first and last movie it was "only" 10 years, so its already ended for a longer time than it run its course. It left its mark on the 2000's years, watching harry potter was an iconic part of that 10 year. I remember watching goblet of fire for the first time, and deathly hallows part 2 like it was yesterday. 15 years ago I read the last book, and it was phenomenal. We grew up with the actors. Iconic franchise.
I saw the movies in 2016 and yeah i feel the nostalgia watching them for the first time, There is a New Harry Potter TV Series coming soon and it will air for a decade, honestly following the books!
@@rachaelthai unfortunately (actually fortunaltely) Albus Severus Potter is in Slytherin house. And this makes us even more proud of our house. In fact: Albus and Scorpius (Draco's child) becomes best friend. Thats good ryt!?
@@zaraa they are i read book 8 Dont read if u dont want spoilers They go back in time to try and save cedric from dying but then end up killing hermionies daughter and voldemort has a daughter that is very evil. She tryes to stop voldemort from killing lily and james because that damaged voldemort. It ends well and they end up saving hermionie and rons daughter
Don't know why but it feels like all the emotions are gonna come out altogether. When you remember once they were small and it was their time of the year, now it's them with their kids. Feels like crying like a baby 😭😭😭
There is actually a headcanon where albus passes snape’s portrait in hogwarts and snape asks another potter whats ur name..albus severus potter he says and snape smiles from his heart for the first time in forever
This series ran parallel with my childhood. I remember in 1998 when I was 3 or 4 there was a bad hurricane and all the power was out. My twin brother and I were at home with our older sister who was 9. We were scared so she went to her a room and came back with harry potter and started reading it to us. We instantly forgot all about the storm. I still remember hoping the power wouldn't come back on until she finished reading the book to me. 2 years later the movie came out and we were so excited. Every other year throughout our childhood another book/movie came out all the way until I was 16/17. I saw every movie in theater and I remember feeling so much grief watching this scene. It felt like the final chapter of my childhood had come to an end. Ill read the books and watch these movies with my kids some day and tell them proudly how I was one of the first fans of this series and saw every film in theaters. Thank you Ms. Rowling for bringing this magic into my life. I feel so fortunate that I was able to grow up along side this magical series
Imagine their dinner party stories. Like all the kids gather around to here the golden trios stories from Hogwarts. And there’s probably a family joke about leviosaaaaa.
bro, i remember when i was 14 out of 15 for the first time watching harry potter and i say it was the best movie and best saga ever, i cant count many times watching harry potter, today with my 20 watching harry potter again from the beginning and it was an honor ladies and gentlemen, i'm sad it's over, but i'm glad it's a very special movie and well done all in all, and i'm sad that certain actors in the movie have passed away.
There certainly won't be. It was a once in a lifetime experience. This is why it is important to live in the moment for all the wonderous gifts offered.
When goblet of fire was about to come out, I was already sad because once harry potter will end.. It felt so bad when ended, that's how we know it was great.
I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after reading “19 Years Later” and it was such a full circle moment seeing Harry and Ginny resemble his late parents, along with seeing Harry speak highly of his late potions master to his son who he named after.
@@leonthb8204 Ah You Know What I m a Massive Massive Fan Of HP Series and Books And IDK How Many Times I Have Watched These Movies And Read These Books
When the Fantastic Beasts film franchise comes to an end, the ending, or epilogue, of the final film better be the scene where Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Hagrid leave Harry on the doorstep of the Dursleys. What will definitely make me scream is if the movie closes with, "Good luck, Harry Potter..."
Yeah it's supposed to do that. The movie producers wanted for this scene to feel like the end and the beginning at the same time. I love how much work goes into these movies 👍👍👍
They get together all the time. And spend Christmas and other holidays with Molly and Arthur, since both Harry and Hermione married Weasleys and are now part of the family.
When watched first time Who had cried and felt like something very dear to us is gone forever and will never come . Flashback of scenes from previous movies coming in mind and mind just felt lonely
One of the best scenes, I remember the reactions, same same, watching Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows Part 2, in 2011. Wow. Can't imagine this was 10 years ago. When Harry said "Albus Severus Potter"... OMG I got chills.
Growing up with Harry Potter has been one indescribable.. Always cry at the end of this because it’s true, it’s the end of my childhood and watching this in the cinema will be my best memory ever!
"Once upon a time, there was 3 students who had a friendship that lasted more than anyone can imagine. One was funny, one was smart and one was brave and bold. Their friendship was golden and it cannot be broken. since, they are the golden trio."
@@flashfeant7750 who said anything about Ginny and Harry? 'lmao 🤡' also I've read each book like 5 times plus audiobooks, I can teach YOU about Harry Potter dude 🤣 and sure, for any hetero basic relationship with toxic bickering, yeah Ron is 'right' for Hermione xD
I wish i could.... i really want to eradicate all the memories of Harry Potter and enjoy again with same enthusiasm. But it's impossible. This makes my heart anguish. 😭😢😵😭😭😭😭😭
Still can’t believe it’s already been 10 years since this awesome franchise ended! My childhood literally felt finished when I watched this scene. Miss it
Albus Severus Potter : "Dad what if i am put in Slytherin ?" Harry : "Albus Severus Potter , you were named after two headmasters at Hogwarts. " One of them was a Slytherin and he was the braviest man i ever knew " Me : 😭
Charlie Mcgee bruh I live in Alabama and we don’t date our cousins 😂 Oml how many times do I have to explain this to people, I’ve met maybe one person who dated their cousin and they broke up immediately after they figured out
I’ve watched this final scene so many times over the years and it STILL gives me the same chills, especially with that finale music blasting, so incredible
i certainly did , never got to see this one in theatres , had to wait for it to come to dvd so seeing the audience reaction to a conclusion like this fills me with emotions that id imagine i wouldve felt if i was actually there
