I love Nightwish, and I grew up on Finnish power metal - Sonata Arctica is one of the very most influential bands for me, as is Wintersun. I'm surprised I never mentioned it to you, I guess I didn't want to be like "you're Finnish, let's talk about POWER METAL" hahaha

No samples at all. Im not used to mixing drums with zero samples. I am sorry it wasn't to your liking

What’s good music people? 5 years on are you still digging the 880? I just received a new one from Audient for adat expansion from Apollo racks How is it functioning for you? I’ve read a fare share of units failing

Weird that the channel HPF's go all the way up to 200Hz, even weirder that you didn't turn them off on the bass and kick drum.

Ok first of all, love this singer! Where do we get more of her?! Also love the bass players enthusiasm.. Everything sounded awsome... That is besides the toms. They have great attack but no body. Too thin. Just my opinion.

Very good Nightwish cover guys, but the sound is a little mody and cheap! specially guitar sound and drums!

Keep in mind the drums have no sample replacement or augmentation at all. They sound like how real drums sound! As for the guitars, you are probably right, I should have gone for a fatter more scooped sound but I ran out of time so this had to do ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . Hope you liked everything else though

good to know, I think the ASP-880 is good for its price but cant produce the dynamic range and texture that metal music needs. I like everything else it is an A+ cover and the musicians are great. keep up the good works :)

@@AngbandMetal I don't know if I agree with that. For one , all drums nowadays sound the same because everyone is using samples. I bet with a bit better EQ on toms and snare and more use of reverb to give them a little depth and ha e them sit further back, you'd get a very metal sound. Using a Neve or API here isn't going to be much different if they EQ the same way.
