Man, all but the NAD don't like XLR outputs apparently. I wonder if you've tried/sold/have an opinion on the Benchmark DAC 2/3 in comparison to these pieces?
Of course there is. We have never hidden the fact we are a dealer. And while we don’t have everything, we do carry almost all of the popular brands. Thanks for watching
Can you recommend a DAC/Streamer to add I to an existing older Onkyo Dplby Pro Logic Receiver and CD player system that does double duty as a Home Theater and 2 speaker stereo? I'd like to add digital streaming to my home system and upgrade the DAC capabilities in the early nineties Onkyo CD changer that I have and use it with my existing Onkyo receiver. Thanks in advance for any help or advice you can offer.
I’ve done this and use my Onkyo for home surround and as a pre-amp for music. I’m using the Node into a Denafrips Iris DDC and that into the Pontus II DAC. The surround speakers are powered by the Onkyo and the Left/Right by a Cambridge Edge W Power Amp. Sounds amazing. Using Tidal now because Apple Music through the Mac was really laggy.
@AudioAdvice dollar for dollar which is better. The more you spend the law of diminishing return hits hard so it's a simple question. Paid $20,000 over say the Bluesound for $500 your not gettimg $19,500 better sound are ya.
These streaming services are all temporary due to their constant tweaking of quality. People will just move on to another when they drop quality. That makes some permanent interfaces just wasted spaces that are stuck on your device.
Both are excellent. Please reach out to our team to discuss or if you are in our area, make an appointment to come in and compare the two. Thanks for watching
Hi, thank you for the video... I have an odd question, FIP, which is an excellent radio praised by worldwide audiophiles for its eclecticism and sound quality, was on Tune-In, but the Radio France group which it belongs to didn't renew the contract with Tune-In this year and a lot of people listening to it on Tune-In till they remove it don't know where to turn now for having it natively streaming vs bluetoothing it from phone or computer. But this radio station (and the others belonging to the group) can be found as an app. though, be it on Android or Apple Store. If you see me coming, you will have guessed my question, which is Is there any streamer which allows today to stream directly or semi directly from one of these apps. I think I saw some using Alexa or Apple Play but not too sure of the method... Any insight on the subject would be really welcome if you have the time... Thank you.
If you are using your PC as the source, you do not really need a streamer, but just a good DAC with a USB input. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com to discuss your best choice. Thanks for watching
I am a happy owner of Rose rs 250 streamer for about a year but i would like to upgrade to Aurender a200 or newest NAD M66. How you will compare Rose rs 250 vs NAD M66 in terms of sound quality, workmanship of the unit as well theirs applications for use. Thanks
Oh, that is a tough one. If you do not have a great room, the NAD will give you all the advantages of Dirac. Please reach out to our team to go over the other differences. Thanks for watching
Chord and Naim are ugly products in my opinion. I will never own any of those. While sound is important, I have to live with the way they look as well. Node X is currently the best Node option. Nice comparison. Thanks.
Chord mojo driving any headphones, really? It was struggling driving my easy to drive focal celestee, no punch/slam in the bass, no texture exposed, double bass sounded like an electric one, the crossfeet muddy's the sound up and the same goes to the EQ. all that for the moderated price of 700 lol this is a gadget that's not worth anyone attention unless you run EIM's, but of course I don't run a buisness out of audio...
